So unless microsoft makes a new update for win11 its gonna be considered es windows 10 but with new update, so when win10 can not get the same update it's gonna be easier for Microsoft to know. But since they are using the same licance key they can not do that.
If your pc doesnt support win11 cause of no tpm, go into your bios advanced settings and see if you have ftt/ftpm disabled, cpus have tpms built in if theyre not ancient
Makes no difference when 99% of the affected machines are 5th Gen Intel such as i7-5960X. Any CPU that's 4+yrs old has no TPM functionality built in - only motherboards had TPM support and when they did it was with a proprietary TPM which is likely out of production. I've always used Windows 10 LTSC (formerly LTSB) and I can't recommend it enough for you as a replacement for Windows 10 Home, Pro. It is a super savior because it only uses Windows 7 apps and works extremely smoothly even though the PC configuration is garbage, it's quite surprising because IoT version like it, which fully support security updates like Windows 10, are very few people know about it. Just hope Windows 11 has LTSC IoT version, and still keeps the minimalism they did with Windows 10 LTSC, it will be a bargain for gamers.

Possibly a hot take but I don’t think lack of constant security Windows updates is as dangerous as people make it out to be. I’ve used unactivated Windows with no updates in the past and seen others who do the same and never caught a virus. Also used budget Android devices that got literally no updates whatsoever.

I can't even get 11 because my pc doesn't meet system requirements EVEN THOUGH MY PC HAS TOP OF THE LINE SPECS. I dont even know what parts I need to make this compatible
Are all your components within the last 5 years? If so then it should work. Maybe a setting in the BIOS needs to be turned on.

I have a Mini-PC with a Celeron CPU that I'm using as NAS, and can't get W11. I'll probably install W11 with those TPM/CPU bypass things when time will come.

Possibly a hot take but I don’t think lack of constant security Windows updates is as dangerous as people make it out to be.
I’ve used unactivated Windows with no updates in the past and seen others who do the same and never caught a virus. Also used budget Android devices that got literally no updates whatsoever.
It will not be like that, it is a trick for most ppl to upgrade now.
