Thank you for enriching my use of this deck through your sharing your perspective and rich thoughts. Yes, there is snow in the desert! Have you never seen photos of snow in the Grand Canyon? Desert that is at high altitude gets very cold in winter and has snow for sure. Although its true that I don’t think of snow melting all summer and watering the desert, so that is different. The cards that seem out of place to me for desert is the whale and the shell, although prehistoric shells from long gone seas might be found as fossils in the desert I guess. Thanks for seeding my thoughts about this deck and making me more excited to work with it! Your walkthroughs are always treasures!
Wow, I've known about this deck for a while but never took a closer look at it. I grew up in Utah and have been on many Journeys to the desert that is only a few hours away from my home. I really appreciate the way this deck depicts the desert. It gets many subtle details about the desert right including the variety of landforms (I love the hoodoos for the tower card!). And it even gets the snow in the desert. YES KELLY, it does snow in the high desert. I have even been cross country skiing in Zion National park. It is not a extremely common occurrence, but there is a decent chance that if you visit many of the National Parks in Utah during the winter you would see snow. For me I think I would wind up associating the snow with peacefulness. These are times when there are less visitors in the desert and it is easier to experience isolation and solitude. It is also a bizarre and secret beauty that most outsiders are not aware of.
I’m such a fan of you, in fact an admirer, that I have begun watching step by step from the very first of your videos. I take notes for my own readings and even began using Geomancy because of you. This note is just to thank you for your generosity, clarity and human sense using the Cards as part of our lives. I work with Tarot and Astrology as a tool to evolve . You are always my inspiration. Thank you very much Kelly. ❤️🙏
It does snow in the desert once in awhile. Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, in the northern parts. The Sonoran desert got snow in 2019 for sure. Extra magical.
I have said it before, but I just love how you split up the cards into piles. I love this deck, too - planning to use it along with a few others in an upcoming video about "negative" or challenging/shadow oracle cards and decks. ❤️ Thanks for this! -Deanne
This was my first ever Kickstarter and I was very excited to get it. It came with an extra mini deck which was super cute. The art is just so evocative. My oracle collection is stored a little uncomfortably now, so I have been too lazy to dig it out. I have to rethink my storage because this and other decks definitely deserve more use. I just loved seeing it in your video, such beautiful art and such reading mastery from you as always. Thank you!
I've had this deck for months but I just realized that it looks like the flower card and prism card are opposites of each other. The prism has that white corner that matches up perfectly with the black corner on the flower card. The prism card has a black background and the rainbow is outside of it while it's the opposite on the flower card
I had avoided looking at this deck too much last year due to being on a Depth Year, but also because it seemed to be desert based which doesn't resonate with me all too much. I'm glad I watched this because seeing that it is actually set in a kind of otherworld makes it feel much more usable and relatable for me. I think this one is going on my wishlist. The edges look great, when the cards are together it looks like a slice of agate. Thank you for an excellent walkthrough as always Kelly. Four thumbs up! ;) x
It had been in the back of my mind for awhile but I just hadn't gotten around to it but I am really glad that I picked it up, there is definitely an otherworld feel to all of his decks that I have and this is the same!
I see the cosmic egg as universal source as well. Universal source to me is the energy that resides in everything but it's also more than everything it exists in. It's infinite potential yet also the spark of life. I see this represented very well in the cosmic egg. The egg has so much potential for what it could become but currently it's a seed created from pure source and consciousness. We all have this spark of the divine inside of us. We are it and it is us. The cosmos to me more represents our connection to the universe and the stars rather than source in general. It also connects to that idea of unlimited potential because the universe is always expanding but the cosmos are a creation of source. They are made of it and are it but are not the source of the divine spark
Wouldn't it make more sense for the crescent moons to be the other way 'round? As you said how it is on the cards, the waning crescent is opening/active, while the waxing crescent is closing/passive, which is kind of flipped relative to the Northern Hemisphere.

I live in the southwest which makes this deck a must have . I'm so excited to add it to my collection 😍

The bridge...I’ve stood, literally, in that small window in that bridge. I feel that card. It is in Arches National Park.

This creator really believes in bare intuition, his wooden tarot didn't even have a little white book. I can respect that.
