The thing about homeschool is that you don't have competition like there's no comparison of your progress or your achievements to other kids. You progress and you choose to grow because you want to not because you want to be above and better than others.
Waited for 12AM last night on spotify and I was so happy to see it was a 1-hour podcast!! Super worth the wait. Learned a lot even tho I wasn't a parent yet 💯
I love this episode! I'm not a parent but I did volunteer for homeschool organizations even if I went to regular schools. Team Kramer explained homeschooling really well. The real challenge of homeschooling is specialization, especially if there are more advanced subjects. This becomes apparent when your kid begins middle school or junior high because then, parents would be obligated to invest in materials (like lab equipment for STEM classes) that are normally in regular schools already. We should really let go of the idea that education should be cookie cutter or one-size-fits-all. Homeschool lets kids be kids and lets them learn at their own pace. :) Thank you for bringing us this episode ❤
I slept an hour late last night listening to this coz I cant wait to listen it today. I don't have a family of my own but I love their parenting style. ♥️
I'm a first-time parent and my husband and I desire to homeschool our child soon because of its great benefits (and because I've had not-so-good experiences during my schooling in a traditional school, i.e. the pressures of homeworks, fast-paced learning or learning by schedule, or various extra activities I didn't even enjoy then, thus gave me the feeling that I didn't enjoy learning when I was a child, Straight top student but there's too much competition). I hope you'll get to know more about it Kryz and Slater. Hopefully you can also guest Edric Mendoza and Joy Tan-Chi Mendoza. :) Btw, I've been watching your vlogs for years. Love you guys! :)
Nice one. One of the best family I have ever seen... love team Kramer.. Slater and Kris will learn alot from this couple specially with parenting... God bless us all. Stay safe 🥰🙏
I admire Cheska and Doug the way they discipline their children, their rel. As husband and wife you really see that God is the center of their rel. ....
It's a concept that is not for everybody and would only fit the few of the population(financially capable and has the extra time). How would this apply if ur parents are working 9-5 jobs may OT pa most of the time and may corporate activities pa over the weekend? That is why we have schools and let us not discredit the professional teachers cause it sounds like they are the lesser option. As what slater said you should hire professional in building your house and i think same goes in building education.
If you watched the video chesca has a disclaimer there. Ofcourse, it’s not for everyone but they are the living proof that homeschooling is possible and effective
Missing on socialization in school with your peers should not be reason why you shouldn’t home educate. In the real world you don’t just mingle or interact with people in same age bracket. My kids have deeper understanding & wider vocabulary because they read novels and watch documentaries. We interact with them & so they pick up big words from us. I also know when they are struggling with a topic & since I am the main teacher then there is continuity. I can focus on a particular subject until they have reached mastery. I can tell you retention is also better because they are not overtired. My kids only do 2 hrs of homeschool every day & 6 days a week. I think 5 hrs of homeschool is ideal for middle / high school.
I dont condemn homeschooling but there are pros and cons. I think going to a regular school brings a different wonderful experience to a child. One of it is having friends from different backgrounds. I mean you can be friends with your siblings but having a friend, that is not blood relation is different and i think most of us will agree. I mean even the Cambridges opted for school bec George, Charlotte and Louis are all enrolled in a school. When during the time of their great grandparents, homeschooling is the only choice. But of course, both of this mode of educating children have pros and cons. Let us just respect the choice of people.
Tried it last year. I agree sa lahat ng sinabi nila pero i give up or maybe for now.. Nasa parents talaga yun anf sakin lang na drain ako and emotionally nahirapan ako sobrang need ng patience lalo na pre schooler pa lang anak ko.
I also feel, pano ko ma-separate being a mom to a full-time teacher. Ang galing din talaga those doing homeschool noh. If you're very willing, just pray for it that you'll be given strength and wisdom to accomplish it 💖
The only downside is you can’t rest.even though your sick you need to keep going.but you can ask help from your husband or family member to take charge if you need rest.
What I love about homeschooling is the freedom to run at your own pace and being intentional with the family. ❤️

God will truly bless those who obey Him. Upon listening, I realized, He's working in so many ways. Thank you #TeamKramer & #SkyFam!

Homeschooling is not for everyone and needs a lot of money to invest on it. But it's my dream to homeschool my kids in the future.
@@ariaelle499 its a myth that you need a lot of money.
Homeschool can be very flexible in schedule.that’s a fact.no excuses up to you If you commit to it.
