I'll be saving this one for reference for sure. I'm a fairly picky eater, and starting to move towards meal prep to improve my eating habits. All five of these recipes are ones I could for sure eat, or at modify only slightly to eat and still have a more healthy diet. Huge kudos. Thanks for the great video.
My husband LOVES the cheeseburger skillets, we've added to our meal prep rotation since you first published the recipe. It really takes care of that fast food burger craving
You might have just solved my entire meal prep rotation for 2025 in a single video. I especially love that these are relatively "high" carb, as I'm training for ultramarathons throughout the year. I will probably try and adapt the input amounts to make batches of 7 meals at once, but all 5 of these look great.
Not sure if Josh knows this but to get them to show up directly in the video on the scrubbing bar you have to make the first one start with 0.00 in the description Because the first one starts with 0.15 it hasn’t shown up, but would be helpful to make navigating the multiple recipe vids easier :)
Currently eating a Hello Fresh inspired couscous recipe, but I used some flash frozen chicken breast strips a la your style, heated just like you advised. Fantastic meal! You changed my perspective to meal prep with the snack city approach, thank you
Hey Josh, german viewer here. Google has made a pretty unpolished feature which auto translates UA-cam titles to your specific language, in my case german. The translation is pretty bad and often doesn't make sense, sadly as a viewer you cannot disable it and only the creator can do it for his videos. Therefore, I beg you to disable it, since it is enabled by default.
Josh, how did you season your wok when you're using an induction? I've found an induction to be superior for almost everything, but seasoning cast iron is a nightmare. Then using a wok is weird as well. Do you have some tips to share?
yknow speaking of upgrades to the website - how about an ingredients filter? an option to include certain ingredients, and an option to exclude certain other ingredients.
Every time I use my rice cooker I always get a thin layer stuck to the bottom and it never tastes good. I pre wash my rice too so not sure what I'm doing wrong.
"Vegetables taste like shit..."????? OMG I know maybe I'm crazy but I LOVE VEGETABLES!! Only because I feel like crap and become bald (I do love the flavor of meat though, but maybe sometimes it's the texture?) I need meat; I would be vegan/vegetarian. I'm not saying I'm better I just think its different because it was instilled into me, and I was low key sad ppl did not enjoy it the same. I do understand that just like I do not like the texture of meat sometimes, vegetables would be just as repulsive to some. I wish I had the time to craft healthy sauces and cooking techniques that would make vegetables delicious and appealing to veggie haters because I love them that much! Thank you for all your input and just steaming broccoli in a bag (although I don't mind the plain taste) its not as good as roasting it with olive oil, salt and pepper and parmesan cheese. Just saying....
Oh god Josh is on his country phase now
This Sundays video is a meal prep recipe for chicken fried raccoon
@@TheMealPrepManualJust add enough sausage gravy.

I just had the fajita chicken fried rice for lunch today! EXCELLENT recipe! Also just signed up 😁
5:47 for the potatoes and onion or most veg in general. Getting a levered chopper has been well worth it for me. Big fan of convenience and Archimedes
Chicken curry and peanut/honey skillet are bangers, especially the former. Taste is one of a kind
The peanut turkey stir fry is definitely one that I wouldn't get enough of. Anyways, looking forward to more of your cool meal preps this year, Josh.
Hell yeah! H‑E‑B brand sausage AND vegetables 👍🏿
Thnx Josh Happy New Year's

Great start to the year! Looking forward to making all of these!
You should add time stamps!
Keep up the good work for 2025!
Time stamps in description. Don't know if they were there when you commented.
@@MindyTunnell yeah but there’s a way you can do it in the video

Number 3 is definitely being added to the rotation.

Loving the smoked sausage with rice and beans. Gonna add some hot sauce to it as well just because I like my rice dishes like that to be spicy.
Check into some frozen edamame, good protein and more coverage as far as frozen vegetables go.
Love your videos. Wish there were more. But I've done another year of the meal pepp manual. 3rd year.
Love'n the Kentucky Mud Flap!

Next Stop: Snack City!
Can you do more 3-5 ingredient recipes?
2:40 had me dyin 😂
Dude. My freezer is full of your lo mein and buffalo chicken rice! Thanks for the vid.
Hey Josh, i'm a huge fan of your recipes and i was wondering if you're open to do some low carb dishes
You can swap the rice with cauliflower rice (can find it frozen) and zoodles or omit it and double the veggies.
@@na195097 yes i know, but a series that would specifical aim towards a low carb diet would be so much cooler
My favorite meal of urs is deconstructed pot pie with mashed potatoes, I eat that once a month lol.
Is there a link for the glass prep containers?
I ordered some from Ikea
2:40 Bruh, real talk here
are these good for bulking?
Any alternatives for the turkey sausage? Can't find it in Switzerland. Pork is a no-go
Chicken, or "Poultry" in general
The Texan really coming out now

I didn't, I used my gas stove. I only use induction for on camera cause its too hard to film over the stove. I actually hate using induction

an option to include certain ingredients, and an option to exclude certain other ingredients.
Buy unseasoned frozen hash brown potatoes (little cubes, not shreds) and frozen diced onions if your knife skills aren't good.
what's that song that plays in the beginning. I recognize it but I can't remember the name.
I'm here for the mullet.
Josh you look exactly like a musician named medium build with that hair
Not sure where to ask, but memerhips from earlier last year (e.g. September) won't be upgraded to the permanent oen, right?
send me an email the the email address on your account and I'll move you over 👍 josh@mealprepmanual.com

which rice ur using? if its basmati u need 1:2 rice to water ratio
Thats goiing to happen but wjth a good ratio it will happen less, plus instead of water try chicken broth or 50/50 water broth. @aksh.at.a
@aksh.at.a I use jasmin rice.
@@pprich1 what is the water to rice ratio?
it should be 1 1/4 cups of water for 1 cup of rice or add a teaspoon of olive oil in rice

we've got the mullet reveal, when do we get the hog reveal Josh 🤔

Here’s a tip for anyone who reads this. Skip the rice cooker and get an instant pot. It’s a much more versatile tool and cooks rice too.
