Great 2 see a parent not rushing judgment and actually letting his son explore music and bonding over it is so dope.. and you can tell by this young man's demeanor and maturity that he's raised right! MORE $B reactions with the kid and throw in some CLEVER imho is 1 the most talented artists in the game..Clever-loyalty and wooden Box reactions would be sick! As a guy somewhere between your two ages - you seem like a genuinely good dad! My parents were always accepting of my interests/hobbies, and I feel like that's an important thing when it comes to self-discovery, not to mention having a positive relationship. A parent has just as much to learn from their child as they want their child to learn from them, and I wish more people realized that.
And besides, the music is cool as hell, haha. Hope I can keep my finger on the pulse of youth culture as I get older, it's an amazing part of life. Take care!!

I love suicideboys more than any other musical group, but I do not agree whatsoever that this music is supposed to "help through tough times". It's the exact same thing as lil xan being named lil xan and rapping about using drugs and turning around in an an interview and saying "i'm anti-substance and am against the use of xanax". There suicide pact proves that their goal was not helping people it was financial success. It's definitely not a gimmick it comes from a real place. The glorification of suicide and substance abuse is in almost every single one of their songs and it's far more shock value. It's my deepest criticism of my favorite musical group and i'm sad it was glossed over as a gimmick from a fellow fan. I'm ashamed to admit a parent would be crazy to not take notice or be concerned about their child finding connection with this music. suicideboys shares that quality with nirvana imo, it does not come from a healthy place emotionally. I really think it's insane to say that this is a healthy attempt to help people struggling with suicidal thoughts.
