Wow!! That Encanto Medley was so cool!! That Bruno segment was 🔥!! And that's so cool that they updated the statues to say stuff for Halloween. I wonder what they'll say for Christmas. Thanks for another awesome update.
The brick line may be a reference to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. That race track was originally built of bricks about 100 years ago and even after the track got paved over to what it is today, there is a line of bricks on the main straight to celebrate the history. Therefore this place is called the brickyard so this may be a reference to a fellow race track?
The Indianapolis motor speedway where they hold the Indy 500 every year, has 1 yard of bricks at the start finish line that is a holdover from it’s past. Before it was repaved. And the winner kisses those bricks.
I believe that brick line on the Speedway is left over from when it was called the Indianapolis motor Speedway. It’s supposed to represent the yard of bricks at the Indianapolis motor speedway
I miss Disney so much. I feel like I live vicariously through your vlogs. Love you Tracker family! Once again Congrats on your little pumpkin! I bet Jackson is so excited. He's going to be a great big brother. Till next time!
Yes, before I even type this I know it’s odd. BUT because of your videos I have a favorite cast member at Disney World. He plays the drum in the band and I always look for him.
Hey Tim, the brick line on the Tomorrowland Speedway is *probably* a reference to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway / Indy 500, whose start/finish line is a stripe of bricks
Before the track at IMS was covered in blacktop, it was originally paved with brick. The brick line on Tomorrowland Speedway was made wit some of those brick pavers.
"Why is this one like crookedy?" 😂 Is that a technical term Tim?? Glad to hear that someone else speaks like I do...in technical terms 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That burger was rather sad looking (especially for the price and after seeing the picture) but I am glad you still enjoyed it.👍
"Isn't there supposed to be a hidden Mickey up here? I don't think I've ever seen it..." as you have the camera pointed directly at it! That pointy rock jutting out into the drop area is Mickey's nose!
I'm sure someone will already have mentioned this in the comments but the bricks on Tomorrowland Speedway are a tribute to the Indianapolis speedway where the Indy 500 is raced - it used to be completely surfaced in bricks (is it still known as the brickyard?). Although it's tarmac now there's still a strip of brick as a nod to how it used to be - I love that detail on the Disney version!
The strip of bricks in Speedway references Indy’s “Brickyard”. The iconic Indy 500 race track used over 3 million bricks to complete in the early 1900s. Of course today the race track in covered in asphalt; however, there is a small section left uncovered where race fans have their traditions and celebrations.
What a rare treat to be able to just stop and watch the band until you are ready to move on. Going to the park alone does have its perks. The brain freeze is something that starts when you have kids. At least I'm convinced that's the trigger 🙃.
The Encanto medley was great--so glad you were able to see it and share with us 😊 I've seen footage of Tron with the lights on at night, and it looks great--hopefully you'll be able to see it in person soon. Also, Jackson definitely needs that Oogie Boogie hat--even if he has to grow into it.
LOVE the Encanto medley!!!! I would be jamming out!!!! The root beer and vanilla slushy sounds so good! I would so try that! I have the baby Groot shoulder sitter, and the electronic baby Groot shoulder sitter! I got them both on shopDisney, but I didn't realize with the electronic one I had to get the Bluetooth speaker so sadly he doesn't dance to my music. Jackson would love that Oogie Boogie hat!
The “brick line” is a reference to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The track used to be totally brick and is referred to as the Brickyard. The entire track was replaced with asphalt except for one strip of bricks at the finish line. Winners of races at this track kiss the bricks to celebrate their win.
Indycar raced at the Walt Disney World Speedway (The Mickyard) starting in 1996. During the time Indycar raced at the Mickyard, Tomorrowland Speedway was modified to include iconic sights and sounds at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Indy 500). One of those sounds was legendary IMS announcer Tom Carnegie announcing throughout the ride. One sight was the scoring pylon. Indianapolis Motor Speedway was paved with bricks in 1909 and was then nicknamed the Brickyard. Today, the bricks are covered with several layers of asphalt, except for at the start/finish where the bricks remain. That line of bricks you referenced are actually called the yard of bricks at IMS and is the start/finish line for the Indy 500 and other racing events at IMS.
I like watching park vlogs cause when your there for a limited time vacation you have no time to stop and watch little shows and bands playing cause there is so much to do combined with lines and stuff lol.
Thanx for taking us along on what seemed like a pretty chill day at MK, Tim! Socially distanced hugs to the 3 (soon to be 4!!!!!) :) of you from New Jersey. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!
The bricks at Speedway are probably there as a tribute to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which was originally paved in bricks, and to this day has a yard of bricks at the start finish line.
I love splash mountain , so glad that I rode it in September, I will miss it when it’s changed to Tianna ! I miss the rail road and can’t wait for it to be back again ! Great vlog Tim
Those bricks are a nod to the brick line at Indianapolis speedway. The whole track used to be paved with bricks. When they replaced them years later, they left one strip of bricks across the track in memory of the original speedway. The speedway is still known as The Brickyard.
I'm not sure- but I think that the brick line is probably there as a nod to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway because that's what the start/finish line is... the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was originally called The Brickyard because the entire track was paved with bricks, but then as the track started to age, they filled in spots with asphalt, and now the only part of the track that's left as brick is the literal yard wide patch of bricks that serves as the finish and start line.
Tim . . . The bricks, or as they are referred by is a yard of bricks which were added in 1999 when Disneyworld partnered up with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The brick on track is most likely a reference to Indianapolis, the track has a line of bricks at the start line. Which was a problem the first time F1 went there.
The hidden Mickey on the Splash drop is right where that person put their hand up. They looked like they were touching Mickey’s chin. It’s Mickey’s side profile. Hope that helps!
With the *Tron Construction Update* - I am a soft opening in mid-January or February, open to the public maybe around mid-March (looks to about 85% complete) BTW agreed, the *Pizza Smuggler Shirt* I would definitely wear (two of my favorite things; Pizza and Star Wars) ❤❤❤❤❤ me some 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
i would imagine the (more popular, newer) characters where they still have working voice actors that are able to record new media are the ones that will get updated with halloween or other sounds in the future. the older characters are just snippets from their respective movies.
"actually doesn't taste like anything special" lol 😂 I think it would be awesome if you and Adam the woo impersonated each other for a whole day at magic kingdom lol 😂
Thanks for another great video Trackers. I am so hopeful to move back to Florida one day just wish it wasn't so expensive. My lare husband I moved in 2001 because it was cheaper then NJ but not anymore. I want to move back and work for Disney just worried about economy. Thanks for listening and all you do
I can't add a photo to help, but the hidden mickey on splash mountain is a giant profile silhouette at the very top left before the big drop. His nose is sticking way out.
We were there that day. That's us at 7.00. My father in law cruising the scooter, and my wife and son walking along. . We were so thrilled to have a chance to say hi to you. I've always wondered if we would ever be so lucky to meet you and your family. . I hope we didn't disturb your filming by saying hi. . In any case this was probably the highlight of our trip. . Keep up the great work and God bless you and your family. Sad to say we are currently flying home
Went the other day. We tried the 50th hot dog at Casey's and it wasn't good. The cold chunky strawberry topping made the hot dog cold. And the funnel cake bits were hard. But later we had a corn dog from sleepy hollow and that was delicious as always
Either Tim has really big hands or that cheeseburger was actually a $15 slider! It is fun watching Tim try to be positive about food even when he is not happy about his order! 😅
It was so lovely to bump into you on that day! Thank you for taking the time to say hi and take a photo with us, as I said watching your videos kept us going through lockdown and inspired us to take this trip. We’re having an amazing time and all the info we’ve picked up from your videos has really helped. Thanks again! ❤💫
I really need to ride Splash Mountain one more time. It usually goes down for refurbishment in January, so I’m hoping I can ride it at the end of November 😢 Tim if you place the bottom of your tongue to touch the roof of your mouth it will stop brain freeze. It’s a Chinese medicine thing that involves pressure points. I miss the railroad I wish they would prioritize bringing it back before Tron opens.
THE WORLD IS OUR PALM TREE!
I loooooooved the Main Street Band playing Encanto music!!!! So excited to see this!
That Jiminy Cricket shoulder pal is perfect since he is our conscience 😂
Wow!! That Encanto Medley was so cool!! That Bruno segment was 🔥!! And that's so cool that they updated the statues to say stuff for Halloween. I wonder what they'll say for Christmas. Thanks for another awesome update.
Fun fact! Dumbo is the only main character from a disney movie that does not talk!
Lol sleeping beauty doesn’t speak much more 😂
That little kiddo in the lower right jamming out to the Encanto medley was amazing! Me too, friend. Me too!

Brick line is an homage to the Yard of Bricks that are seen on the Indy 500 track

As a former band kid, thank you for showing extended footage of the band!!!
Thank you for video of the band. We are a marching band family and love this. Thank you
Yes, before I even type this I know it’s odd. BUT because of your videos I have a favorite cast member at Disney World. He plays the drum in the band and I always look for him.

That’s what I thought too. The Indianapolis Speedway is called the “brickyard” because the original surface is brick.
I've never enjoyed a band more - I'm so glad you filmed the whole thing! Thank you!

The brick line is to be like the Finish line at the Indianapolis 500.
If you double tap your MagicBand after the initial vibration, it’ll work easier than waving like crazy 😊
Thanks for stopping to say hi Tim in Magic Kingdom 👋
Love the kid at the bottom right at 7:05 just rocking out to Bruno, lol

That little kid in the right corner of the screen was having the time of their life while the band played!
Tim goofy is actually really good!!!!

I do not understand how people were just walking by and not jamming out to the band....man they were getting it!!!!!💃😀😀🥰😀❤❤
Band arrangements are great
61 degrees is like summer for us in the uk.😂👍
That band is awesome! Thanks for sharing.
I was in magic kingdom for my hoilday for 2 weeks Thursday was my last day had so much fun will be back soon. Not so scary was my favourite.
The bricks at Speedway are probably there as a tribute to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which was originally paved in bricks, and to this day has a yard of bricks at the start finish line.
The Bricks are similar to the BrickYard at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway - leftover from when the whole track was bricks back in the old days.
I love splash mountain , so glad that I rode it in September, I will miss it when it’s changed to Tianna ! I miss the rail road and can’t wait for it to be back again ! Great vlog Tim

Thanks for sharing the Encanto music. I enjoyed it very much!❤😊
I love the band!!!!
The band was great! Thank you for showing them
Thank you for the tour - brightens the day 🎉
“I’m not wearing a costume” 🤣🤣🤣
Tim - the hidden mickey on Splash is at the top of the drop - the rocks form Mickey's profile
Tim . . . The bricks, or as they are referred by is a yard of bricks which were added in 1999 when Disneyworld partnered up with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
I doubt I’ll make it back to Disney any time soon so I’m living vicariously thru the Tracker family! Thanks for all the updates! 😊
Sameeeee
That band is legit!
I love these update videos!!
The brick on track is most likely a reference to Indianapolis, the track has a line of bricks at the start line. Which was a problem the first time F1 went there.
Happy Saturday!
I got a great night time view of Tron from upstairs at the Astro Orbitor after I got off the ride!
Had to go back and listen twice to what Pooh and Tigger were checking on. I almost spat out my drink.
The hidden Mickey on the Splash drop is right where that person put their hand up. They looked like they were touching Mickey’s chin. It’s Mickey’s side profile. Hope that helps!

The band was awesome!
me singing and dancing along to the encanto songs: 💃💃💃💃💃
the band was on FIREEEE
You actually did tried The Big Al burger in a previous Magic Kingdom blog
i would imagine the (more popular, newer) characters where they still have working voice actors that are able to record new media are the ones that will get updated with halloween or other sounds in the future. the older characters are just snippets from their respective movies.
Have heard that the trains will be back in January.
"actually doesn't taste like anything special" lol 😂
I think it would be awesome if you and Adam the woo impersonated each other for a whole day at magic kingdom lol 😂
Your hamburger looked nothing like the picture! Never get tired of hearing your weeeee! Thank you!😇

I miss magic kingdom 😮
We saw a cast member by the phantom manor with a zero shoulder pal when we were in Disneyland Paris a couple weeks ago
Look forward to your videos every day! Thanks for being so dedicated to posting :)
Tim loves his peanut butter and chocolate.
The brick line on Tomorrowland Speedway is meant to recreate the start/finish line at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Hey Tim. The hidden Mickey on Splash is a profile of Mickey on the left. His nose protrudes above the logs as you go over the top of that climb. 😃
They are probably waiting for tron to open before they close for reno's on splash mountain .
I can't add a photo to help, but the hidden mickey on splash mountain is a giant profile silhouette at the very top left before the big drop. His nose is sticking way out.
Main street band with Encanto… i cry! that was awesome!! Thanks so much for recording that!!
Can’t wait for TRON 🤔feels like Halloween is over🎃😆
First :) love ur videos!

Such talent in that band! That was awesome 👏🏻
My guess is that the brick line is supposed to mimic the yard of bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway!
hi Tim love the encanto medley and the new halloween phrases the characters say 🐇
Love that you go, but not sure if I ever can or will again. Disney is disappointing the World.
Either Tim has really big hands or that cheeseburger was actually a $15 slider! It is fun watching Tim try to be positive about food even when he is not happy about his order! 😅
Cool
Year 2043
“We’re gonna hop on the Peoplemover and check out some Tron construction…”
The start/finish line at The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is brick. Maybe a nod to that?
Still blows me away how you can make any sound at all going down a steep drop lol. Beautiful day at MK❤️. Huge hugs and love to you guys xoxo
One hack that i learned about. If you go to the exit of splash mountain, that is the single rider line
It was so lovely to bump into you on that day! We’re having an amazing time and all the info we’ve picked up from your videos has really helped. Thanks again! ❤💫
If you pause as you just get to the hole in Splash before you go down, you'll see Mickey on the left! His nose is sticking out of the rock.
The big Al’s expectations vs reality 😂
$15 burger ! That’s outrageous
Trons light are on every night after close and guest are clear of the park. Go to the contemporary after close and you will see them turn on
I really need to ride Splash Mountain one more time. It usually goes down for refurbishment in January, so I’m hoping I can ride it at the end of November 😢

Been a while since I last visited the magic kingdom also
