    It's my favorite season too! You're so lucky to see real maple tree leaves^^ After my last trip, and my cheapo tripod shaking from the wind, I realized I might need to upgrade.

      @hopscotchtheglobe  8 років тому

      Our last tripod was probably the cheapest thing ever haha. It was only good at keeping the camera still in one spot, but you couldn't be creative with it. It's nice to have one with a fluid head.

    It's so beautiful there :)
    It's already snowy in Finland where I live :b

      @hopscotchtheglobe  8 років тому

      It's snowy on the other side of Canada too. It's been a longer autumn here which has been both nice...and odd. The leaves are starting to fall off the trees a lot more now though. I'm glad we captured it in time :)

      Weird how the weather can be so different in different parts of a country. Last year it started snowing in January here, usually it starts around this time so that was kind of odd. But I'm glad the snow is here, Christmas just doesn't feel the same without it :)
      But autumn is really beautiful too, my favorite season♥

      The best thing with fall is when it skips the rainy mush of snow and switches from awesome colors to pure white super snow palace in few days. I love 4 seasons of the year but the darkest hours of end of October with raining wet cold mush is not my happy place :). I heard it is going to be great winter this year so I'm hoping for that!
      Have fun! It is truly magical place and I can't wait to get my camera filming in my home.

      What's that one like? Is it too large to travel with?

    • @MattNav

      It's really handy and fits into most backpacks.

    • @hopscotchtheglobe
      @hopscotchtheglobe  8 років тому

      What would you change about it?

    • @MattNav
      @MattNav 8 років тому

      Kristen Sarah make it a bit less susceptible to breaking near the top of the legs due to the typical angling used in a sudo Selfie stick position (ALA Casey Neistat). Also adding a video arm for smooth PTZ shots would really help. And this isn't a likely feature to ever be added but I'd love some clip on wheels to use it like a dolly.

    First of all, I love your videos and mean no harsh words and only hope to respectfully educate. I know this is an old video, so I hope that your statement about going off trail is no longer how you do things, but in case it is;
    The reason that you are asked not to go off trail is to protect our forests and the delicate eco systems that have remained untouched that keep our forests and world healthy. I won’t go too far into it, but wanted to educate so that if you didn’t know you can now help us protect Mother Earth by staying on marked trails and leaving no trace! Happy trails and travels!

      Thank you. I respect your comment and need to protect Pachamama. I'm with you. Sometimes we don't realize we are doing any harm. This video was filmed years ago, we definitely learn and grow. It's the same with things like riding elephants in Thailand or swimming with dolphins, etc. I've done both YEARS ago when I didn't realize or was educated about the harm. I would never do either now and I share my knowledge of why no one should do these kinds of activities with others. I appreciate your comment and the way you presented it.

    1:45 statement: Do you know what indigenous people once said about none other than Ludwig van Beethoven, exposed to his music for the first time? This sounds like crunching leaves under walking feet.
    What's that impressionist tune?
