Great tips. I always dismantle my reels and put them in a sealed dry bag, to go thru surf

+Wayn Jul nice one, watching will do so much..get out and have a go in controlled environment mate, dont wait till you think you have the theory perfect because the real deal is fast flowing no chance to pause and rewind just learning from scar tissue ;-)

+Paddle Guy deep thoughts paddle guy and so true. Things change in a flash offshore constantly. No time to pause and rewind. Great philosophy.

Hey man awesome video is the plastic cover you have on the front just the one off the 440 or specially designed for reload

thanks mate - yeh that was me trying to make the profish 440 cover work, it did not and my current solution under the bungy works better

Nice video, how do you compare the performance of the Reload to the Profish 400? Just wondering as I have the 400 and may take a step up.

Chuck Peacock hi mate - quite a few differences - can you take one for a test paddle? Best would be to do that then you will have some idea of what suits your needs

Not sure I can but I'm sure I'd be happy with the Reload as well, Profish 400 good "all rounder" as far as I'm concerned. I think the Reload would bring more speed and efficient paddling. I'd appreciate any thoughts you might have on the two, thanks for the reply!

Chuck Peacock yeh other than the obvious features like the tackle pod and large oval hatch the Reload will certainly give you more efficiency over longer trips and for surf work - pay off is it's a little heavier than the 400 but there's always compromise which ever way you go - relaod will do everything the 400 does and more so doubt you will regret the upgrade- seat position and comfort the same but flatter foot wells mean you can stand up if ness. Hope that helps

Helps a great deal and thanks, keep up the great work - the Viking kayaks are so fishing friendly.
