A Lot of people do not like the idea of funneling fake noise into the cabin. Especially one you have an intake and the noises are heard not just in the cabin.
Do you guys sell T bolt clamps instead of worm gear clams? If not how tight are you tightening the worm gear clamps? I’ve had problems in the past with worm gear clamps slipping off.
Hi, great install video. Would this larger hot side pipe fit with a front lower brace (4 point) installed? the OEM pipe sits quite close to where the brace would connect to front of the control arm. Thanks
Unfortunately we cannot say for sure without knowing the design of the front brace you are running. However is you are already very close with the stock pipe a larger diameter pipe might not help the situation.
An intercooler is not required for an intake and downpipe install. You'll be able to use either of those without upgrading your intercooler, although you'll see better gains with an intercooler and tune. Feel free to reach out to Support@Mishimoto.com with any additional questions!
Hey godamighty. This intercooler will be 100% fine on your stock tune. We are actually working on getting this system CARB approved for our friends in California :).
godamighty oh your one of those people, install everything and tune at the end so your car feels twice as fast instead of incrementally fast .. I'm actually doing the same thing I'm on a stage 1 tune with a full exhaust intake and motor mount, I ordered my fmic but I won't flash stage 2 or 3 until I get the piping as well, although the best mod so far has been the motor mount (minus the added vibration)
So after install my fmic if I wanna get the hot side pipe later will I need to remove my bumper? Obviously it would probably be easier to do it now but mod funds are low after I purchased my fmic
Hey Joshuabrutl. From what I can see, installation of the hot-side pipes does not require the bumper to be removed. Feel free to reference our installation guide if you'd like some more details. Link below. cdn.mishimoto.com/media/productpdf/MMICP-FIST-14H_InstallGuide.pdf
Hello Michael. During our testing with the vehicle, we found the factory intercooler to be a limiting factor to those who track their vehicles or want to add more power. Installing the intercooler will not only bring down your air intake temps dramatically, but also provide instant power gains as a bolt on part. For those looking for even more power, this unit is rated up to 325 horsepower at the wheels. If you would like more details, head over to the product page and check out our tech specs :) www.mishimoto.com/ford-fiesta-st-performance-intercooler-kit-14.html
What are the benefits of deleting the sound generator? Also are there any additional modifications needed to do so?

So.. what are the temp drops for this intercooler compared to the OEM intercooler?
seriously
The sound generator another word for the fake engine box thing?
Yes, pretty much!
Seems like more work to change the piping than to install the fmic it self
I'd have to agree with you on that one Joshuabrutl :)
will this run ok with the stock engine tune?? its part of a long-term upgrade and the tune will come at the end when i have everything in place

Cod you use all these upgrades for a 1.6l ford escape? Since it’s the same engine
They may have the same engine but the chassis changes a bit and may require some modification to fit our parts.
Is this FMIC a direct fit with a 2016 EU FiST?
This kit will work with the EU market Fiesta ST
Is this the j line intercooler?
This is our direct-fit intercooler specifically designed for the ST
@@mishimoto can yall make a video on putting the j line on the fiesta st?
We unfortunately do not make videos installing custom setups such as universal parts. There are a few available online from customers.
What's the point in changing the intercooler
