Just let Danny have the fastest lap and DOTD for the legacy and memes. Dont ruin it with crying about conspiracy...anybody can pit and go for fastest lap at any time. Magnussen lost it only bcs of track limits btw. And when three or how many driver did go for a fastest lap only to have been beaten by Lando with old hards (two races ago) on the last lap. No-one was crying about how others wanted to ''steal'' points from him. This time it just worked out the other way.
"Anybody can pit and go for the fastest lap any time", True, but it doesn't make much sense when you know you wouldn't score the fastest lap point. Other drivers who went for the fastest lap in Monza were in a position to score the point.
Danny Ric pitted in the last lap, went with softs and clean air to get the fastest lap one lap behind the race leader, and finished in last position. For people saying he wanted to make a statement, that is not how you make a statement.
Imho this was done purely as a team order just to seal the point off Lando and help out Max. Idc if Lando looses this championship because of this point. I wouldn't be complaining if Checo went for the fastest lap. But using a sister team to steal a point was pretty underhanded and Danny doesn't get to play the sympathy card with this one.
