I have a question regarding Indiana guardianship and cannot find help. I had guardianship of my niece's 2 children from April 2013-Sept 2016. I read under Indiana law that I should have received $6000 in 2013. However I am on disability and no longer file taxes. I was never able to find out how I would receive the $ other through filing taxes. I have asked many ppl about this and nobody seems to know. Can you please help me find out of I am eligible because I very much need this money.
