CRATER CRAWLER Gameplay

CRATER CRAWLER is a classic side-scroller, written completely in NextBASIC. It's inspired by the classic arcade game "Moon Patrol".

PLAYING THE GAME:
While you can't buy a Next easily (it was a kickstarter), consider the excellent third party clone, the NGO. If you don't have any hardware, there are emulators such as CSpect and Zesarux that can run this game as well.
Note that this gameplay was recorded on Cspect emulator. On the real hardware its a lot faster/smoother.
MAKE IT YOUR OWN:
I've completely documented all the code (and data structures) for the game. I try to do this with all my projects, offering a chance for anybody to read about, learn and modify the projects for fun.

Yup! Definitely the bit I was sad to NOT add. Mostly because I was having issues with the NextDAW driver not playing properly in CSpect... That, and I really have to sit down and learn how to operate NextDAW properly... 😂
Mind you, I noted a few things I'd like to adjust/add based on watching the game played by someone, so perhaps an update to come in the near future?? When, no idea... Hmmmm...🤔
