- I had the opportunity to camp out with Renisha and Dwayne of the "Carolina Camping Crew" at their annual family and friends meet-up at Kerr Lake, Hibernia Campground, specifically Hibernia Group Site.
I did not take the travel trailer on this trip. I took my tent this time, arriving on Thursday and departing on Sunday. It was my very first time at this location. It's a beautiful State Park and has something for everyone. I had everything I needed and was comfortable and ready for the rain. I even had a chance to test one of my new toys, Dokio 150W solar panels. Kerr Lake is a location I suggest for everyone, tent campers, van campers, and RV enthusiast a like.

Hi, how can I join the Carolina Rv community. I have been watching so many people do it and now that my last is off to college in the fall. I want to start by Sept or Oct. I am thinking about doing this in my suv for now.

Ah-man, for the love of camping!! This is what Im talking about. I'll be a Hibernia for a 2 night camp with my family this weekend. I've camped at North Bend on the VA side so I know Hibernia is just as wonderful. I know this CG doesn't have a camp store but did you see any local spots selling firewood close by the park?
I know you will enjoy yourself as I did. If I'm not mistaken, you may purchase firewood at local convenience stores nearby
