There's recently alot of psychology, science, and even math coming out with occultic and esoteric leanings. It's creepy and might even be sneaking into how even Catholics think of The Church.

Before I came back to my faith and the church, I was into all that. Cleansings, tarot readings, white magick, had a new age store, and was a certified reiki practitioner. A few years ago went to confession and removed all that from my life.

Why? Did something happen that showed you God’s word is true? I didn’t go that far, but demon attacked me and I called to Jesus for some reason, idk where it came from, but I knew He was real after. Now I’m in catechism after 7 years of ‘non denominational’. I’ll be baptized in the Catholic Church soon 🕊️

The intercession of Saint Mary Magdalene helped lead me out of these New Age practices and back home to the Catholic Church. The night I threw out all of my tarot cards, crystals, and occult books, I had nightmares that lasted for weeks. There are consequences when we reject God's word and come into agreement with demonic practices, but ultimately, Jesus has the power to heal and save us all. May God have mercy on us.
Similar things here. The entities got angry when I started praying the rosary and ditched all that occult stuff. The nightmares make horror movies pale in comparison. Their true colors came out and I learned demons are absolutely real.

@lovelytheology 100%. Before, I didn’t think demons or hell were real but woo was I wrong. I started sleeping with a rosary in my hand - that helped me a lot. I like that you said St. Mary Magdalene, I will keep her in mind too. And yes, to God helping us. I feel this esp with the rosary in case the night gets intense.

I was a practicing Witch for 35+ years. There are some common beliefs such as, "An it harm none, do what you will." Along with the "7-fold law". Which means that whatever you put out comes back to you 7xs. (Which would be a reason to not harm.) Now, I'm a devout Catholic and I see all of the Occult with different eyes. These people are being deceived. It's Catfishing on a universal scale. They are not worshiping who they think they are worshiping. I was floored when I really discovered Catholicism. It was everything I'd been looking for, except it's real.

I never heard of any thing like this. It scares me to death! Never dreamed that these sites did this. I have been so sheltered at 86. Just love my Catholic faith.
Don't be scared, remember Jesus triumphs and he allows all these evils for a greater good we can't comprehend fully in this life.

I came across the Etsy stuff they mention, I was away from the church at the time. There was one seller that discussed contacting demons and had a whole warning about it not being for the faint of heart. Scariest thing I’ve read online in my 33 years growing up with the internet. Now I just use Etsy to support Catholic sellers and stay away from the witches. But yeah, it’s out there and easily accessible 😳

At minimum we need Him to reverse the attacks against us and His Church that He allowed Satan to get away with when under Pope Leo XIII Satan had a conversation with Jesus, saying "He (Satan) could destroy His (Jesus) Church if Jesus would grant him (Satan) 75 to 100 years, as well as greater power over the minions who would serve him (Satan) in this quest to bring down the church.
1959 was year 75. This is when the current pope began talks of creating Vatican II.
Once VATICAN II kicked off all hell has broken loose in our church. Stonecutters infiltrated the church. (See Taylor Marshalls book titled "Infiltration" if you want to know what a Stonecutter is.
Satan did not destroy Jesus church but he has damaged it greatly.
We truly need Jesus to restore His/Our Catholic Church before it truly falls into the hands of the Beast or Antichrist.
Revelation 13 : 7 speaks of the beast overcoming the saints and all power will be given the beast over all tribes, tongues, and nations.
God the Father allowed Job to lose all that he had. Job's wife, children, herds and farms animals, house, essentially everything. At the end of Job's trials and sufferings God blessed him even more wonderfully than before his trials.
Hopefully God will grant the Church/us, this restoration so that Faith in our church and families can be restored.
80% or more of Catholics done attend Weekly Mass. Yet of those 80%, how many will walk forward to receive the Lord the next time they are at Mass without first confessing their sin of missing Mass without just cause.
How many of those 80% even know that missing Mass is a mortal sin that truly needs to be confessed before receiving our Lord in the Eucharist?
Our children don't even bother with marriage anymore. Or go to Mass anymore.
But you are correct. We truly need our Lord to come back to set things straight or take us home.
Thank you for this episode. I think a missing piece that was not talked about is how a generation of kids were greatly affected by the scandal in the Catholic Church. The scandal broke open when my kids were in their formative years, and it affected their belief in God and the Catholic Church. That generation is now in their 30's/early 40's and many of them claim to be "spiritual but not religious". It opens them wide up to the occult. Thankfully, the Catholic Church is working hard to make reparations and kids in their 20's seem to be much more faith centered. But many of the kids in their 30's/40's are raising kids that are not being led to Christ by their parents. It is a long road to recovery from the scandal; we need to remember to keep praying that it never happens again.
I understand everything you said. It's hard to believe that even bishops and cardinals were also involved. If anyone you know that is looking for a good catholic church. I can only suggest that you visit and see how the priest offers mass.watch carefully. Is he holy ? How does he deliver the homily?
Is it short ? Or somewhat lengthy? Pray for God's guidance and observe everything. Prayers for you and your family.

You can pray yourself and/or ask grandma to pray for you and/or ask great great grandma who’s now in Heaven already to pray for you. Jesus is the one Vine. We are branches in the one Vine. A branch in the Vine on Earth or a branch up in Heaven in the Vine is still in the one Vine. You can ask any brother branch to pray for you. There is no descrimination in love. I grew up in a Catholic family. In my teens, I started to look into the occult. I am now in my mid-30s and realise how difficult it is to leave that filth behind. It is alluring.
It's an addiction. Nothing is as exciting as talking to invisible creatures and causing things to happen...:) But it can be broken w God's help. I am proof.

Ok. I haven't been down there since I was 14 (hotel my family stayed at was on Bourbon), and I know it is littered with bars and strip joints.
Part of me would recommend you try finding work elsewhere, but it doesn't seem likely given it sounds like a family business.
Personally, I think working a standard bar is not as bad as a strip joint, but I know the crowd at night there is not always in a "pleasant" mood.

Your description is about on point. I’m very good at bartending as a professional but am not happy doing so. Am a father and husband so I simply am where the money is, although that is not a good conviction for a catholic to have. I simply have no other skills and doing what I do, I make just enough money (definitely still poor, but still rich and blessed with my life) I pray God will deliver me from this place soon.
At least the bar I work at is on same street as the Cathedral so I’m constantly reminded that I’m not alone in my faith, although I feel like the only Christian some nights.

Samantha, look at Catholic Exorcism website, Monsignor Rossetti, prayers for laity. There are binding prayers and prayer against retaliation. The St Joseph prayer is powerful. There are UA-cam videos with Monsignor Rossetti praying for different afflictions. We’ll pray our Rosary and remember you - also very powerful spiritual weapon.

In this town, a lot of witchcraft has a cross or fish on it. Everybody here are "christians." God has been removing me from some interchurch things that I thought was "Ecumenism," but have turned out to be rabbit holes. The battle is hard enough in the Catholic Church. The protestant brethren here are in "churches" that put their souls in jeopardy. Judgment begins in the House of God.

As soon as I finished watching this episode, the FIRST ad on UA-cam was for a monthly subscription to receive crystals.
I got involved with the occult, practced mirror scrying, developing psychic ability and card reading when I was a teenager and in my twenties. It brought so much darkness and sadness into my life. I wish I could turn the clock back and never mess with any of that stuff but I didn’t believe this stuff really was bad. Unfortunately I had to experience it to believe it.
Same it started when i was a preteen, then at 15 i got diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, and Major Depression Disorder i had to be hospitalized twice because i kept on having suicidal thoughts i couldn’t brush my teeth, shower, or have the energy to charge my phone
Please pray for my daughter who has decided she no longer believes in Jesus, God or the Bible. I’m heartbroken. She’s gotten into tarot and using the oigi board. I’m so afraid for her! Please pray for her soul!

Your daughters on step 1, and there's not really much you can do about it now. The harder you try and convince her to come back, the more questions she'll ask, and the process will just occur faster.
Get blessed St Benedict medals and place in four corners of your house/property and inside your daughter’s room 4 corners. Pray novena to St Monica ( mother of St Augustine) and play in low volume the St Benedict prayers continuously especially at night - lots of links on UA-cam.
Sorry to hear that. I'm a firm believe in prayers, but I also believe that Tarot do not mean no harm if they're used properly and in good faith. I do not know much about oigis tho. I've read that everything contains consciousness and so I'd be a good idea perhaps to pray to those 2 objects to direct your daughter to goodness again.
Another thing that might be helpful is to always have Sage around too. Prayers mate.
Don’t listen to the advice above and pray to anything other then God. You don’t need objects or Sage you need to pray and remember the promise of the word. God says if we teach them the way they need to go when there young they will return when they are older. Stand firm in the foundation you laid for the truth to your child and trust God pray God bring him/her back to him. That’s the real deal all this prayer to objects and dead people are a waist . Jesus died for us but also made a way for us to go to the Father directly and speak freely. God is listening and He will hear your prayers. Perhaps not the way we want it or in our time we think we need it but he is faithful and is never late and always shows up. Remember you love your child endlessly how much do you think God there father and creator loves them? Beyond what we could ever comprehend. So trust his word to bring the lost sheep home and trust yourself and the foundation you laid was not in vain. I will be praying for you may the Lord bless you and keep you and strengthen you and your family.

Could Charles address the deception in mindfulness and how the psychology field is inundated with clinicians introducing the occult to clients through reiki, mindfulness/meditation yoga and chakras, ect

Many priests recommend therapy but finding one who isn't into new age stuff or secularlism is next to impossible.

I want to second what he said about many priests do not realize that in truth, if they are keeping themselves in prayer, they have great power in Christ. Seriously, gentlemen, by virtue of your ordination, Christ has given you the power and knowledge to cast out these demons, energy, manifestations, ghosts, what have you. This is so true. I returned to my Catholic faith with a baggage of having sought occut answers. My young priest listened to my confession to having been interested in tarot and stuff, and he gave an exorcism prayer right in the confessional. It was so beautiful. I am blessed to have found a confessor who is so clued up and full of the love of Christ.
Most Catholics don’t realize this bc their religion teaches them to pray to the Saints, Mary, or ask the Priest to do it all. No faith that they have the tangible power of the Holy Spirit. Catholicism keeps people at a distance from the Holy Spirit bc it’s easier to control them if you have them thinking they are powerless

My daughter, as well. She can't even be in the same room when we pray before meals, she is so agitated by demons. I've been praying for a decade, it's only gotten worse, but I have to trust God won't let these prayers go unanswered. She went to Mass every Sunday, and on holy days, and in high school was dubbed St. Anne, because she never veered off the path. Then she went to college.
That's all you can do is pray for her protection. Eventually her curiosity will hopefully lead her back to her savior Jesus Christ and his bride the church.

For every part like "Bless me with Thine Love" I think of all the Love that I am given every day and project Gratitude and Love for receiving this Gift.
My sister-in-law is into botany, and I was looking for plants and fossils that were petrified for her birthday. In the suggested shops there were so many occult shops. I made sure the person I was buying from wasn’t selling anything of that nature. I have also seen people selling Catholic art, but they also sell art depicting occultic symbols and goddesses. If I see this, I do not buy from that shop. I always vet my Etsy sellers.
40s years ago, in the 80s ,I was on my Christian path.
A family member introduced me to the occult.
It never gave me peace.
Now I am back on thr Path Christ had planned for me.
Prayer (the rosary) is how I do what I can, for the church.

I have spent many years studying all things “occult”, and have dabbled in some very minor workings to test efficacy. You guys have a good understanding of what it is but I feel that you could articulate it better. Practicing certain “occult” rituals is akin to drinking or doing drugs. Yes, it works. But there is a price to be paid. The stronger the drug (or ritual) the worse it is for you mentally, physically and spiritually. It’s the same thing. The parallels are undeniable.

This time last year, I was deeply involved with the occult. In Los Angeles there’s a campus known as the Philosophical Research Society, or PRS. Long story short, it’s a hub for all things occult. I had a podcast and would interview people I met there. One in particular made me begin to doubt that lifestyle. It felt like we were playing make-believe, but the poor woman believed everything she was saying. Aside from the delusion, many of them (myself included) are narcissistic. It’s a terrible way to live. This past February, I was baptized and gave myself to Jesus Christ and am now heavily involved in the church. Best decision I ever made.

The challenge in this unruly world is that people are desperate to control their destiny. They turn to false prophets for immediate answers. In some cultures (Italy, India, China, etc.), there is a belief in karma and auspicious dates and signs. Sadly, that hope is not seen as an internal blessing offered by Christ but rather as an external answer offered by soothsayers.

Very important discussion. I had a terrible experience with reiki (pronounced 'ray-key') when I let a Brazilian "master" try it on me. I went into convulsions. Stupid thing I did when I was younger.
Catholicism is so rich in theology regarding angels and demons. The Church needs to spend more time talking about this so people have a greater knowledge of the spiritual world. I don't think people really comprehend the power involved and how it affects the soul and the world around us.
Went on Etsy to find a figurine of St. Germaine Cousins and along side the saints and holy candles were wiccan items. Was really upset and quit looking there.
Why be that upset about it. People who follow Wiccan would argue that it is their religion . Even look in book stores - in the section for "Religion" you will find books on ALL faiths/beliefs and that includes Wiccan.

After leaving the New age spiritual community I stumbled upon a full-blown alchemist who's on UA-cam today and he wears the lesser key of Solomon necklace and ring and performs rituals through astrology that summons straight up as he quotes friendly demons. It was wild man! He was advertising his services to me and I straight up blocked and ran like hell I forgot his name. I had to say a binding prayer to feel protected.
Leaving the New Age Spiritual Community definitely means farting in yoga class.
The other thing about Etsy, I discovered, is that there are shops that will sell “Catholic” things and also occult items. I saw a rosary once that looked really weird- like the crucifix was a starfish- and it turned out they sold other occult items. They just listed it under “spiritual.” Who knows what “blessings” (curses) they put on their items.
That should tell you Catholicism is…full of false idols that the Bible warns about.
Yeah I would never buy Sacramentals from anywhere other than a Catholic office supply store or Church gift shop.
There is a post office on Bourbon St. that I believe sells cursed “Catholic items”
It is on a corner where witches operate all the time and as a Catholic who wears sacramentals, the whole post office feels off…
Our only defense is the Catholic religion with our blessed Sacraments.

I buy scapulars, miraculous medals, and other Catholic items from Etsy. Everywhere you turn these days carry tarot cards, crystals and books on witchcraft for sale.

Just check the store before buying. Etsy is just a marketplace, and there occultists there, but also good people with good items to sell. Just make sure to see that the seller you buy something from doesn’t sell questionable items in their store as well as the normal ones.
Learning about it the paat few years i am not afraid of it. I do worry about it for people. Try to warm about it. Especially my daughter Oceana.

There are a bunch of UA-cam channels where young women are presenting COZY and they show cute lil deserts, cozy living, and then they say they are Pagsn or Wiccan and most of the cutesy lil books they get cozy with are occult of occult related in some way. Some go as far to show their cutesy occult tarot cards, and lil pagan magic rituals under the guise of cute and cozy. It’s actually really scary and they do if in such a way it seems sweet, but it’s not sweet at all. The more occulty they get, the more you tube monetizes them, it’s crazy and scary.

I’m a Catholic and an acupuncturist. Without acupuncture, I would have never returned to the Church. Everything I see in it demonstrates that we are created by a higher power, and that higher power is the Trinity. For example there’s only two points that work on all diseases. They have to do with the heart and stomach. And the placement of Jesus’s nails also have to do with the heart and stomach. Remind you of something, maybe like the Eucharist?
I’m also confused as to why it’s ok for us to use our phones, which are black mirrors that use electricity, aka qi, and yin and yang, binary, to obtain information like from this video. Where do you draw the line? Is it only ok when you’re not aware you’re using technology, philosophy and perspectives from other religions?

I read a story about a Reiki practitioner, who started drawing Christian symbols instead of the traditional ones in his practice. At first, the effect was marked, the healings were spectacular! Then one day he was at Mass or adoration (can't remember which, now), and his mind became full of gross obscenities and dreadful thoughts, and he realised what had taken up residence in his head from that Reiki initiation. Of course it doesn't help that the initiation drags in all sorts of non-Christian bumf, as well.

I was on Etsy looking for a St. Martha praying card and as I’m looking through the different options somehow ended up looking at witchcraft prayer cards that looked like saint prayer cards. Of course I immediately got off Etsy but it freaked me out.
Sadly my sister has been pulled into this world through crystals and manifesting through positive thinking. I never realized when it started she would get so involved.
I would be REALLY curious to see Catholics keep the same energy and turn all these judgements and arguments in an honest (keyword : HONEST) analysis of Christianity because “What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.”
I believe understanding how the moral forces of good and evil out of how superstition and ignorance works then one can only look past the prejudices and biases around Satan and the occult! Look around at what can be scary is dogmatic beliefs about God which can keep you addicted and separate from that which you already are, and that which can only be known, and imparted from within is Our Divine Prerogative and Soul Purpose to bring Union in Christ Jesus. At my part time job we have this training app where it will sometimes update us on a new product line or a new process information but it has really been amping up the self help nonsense, mindfulness, affirmation cards, teaching all about this manifesting stuff. I have to go through the app and read through it all... and this isnt just a isolated thing to the part time job my mom is addicted to it and when i try to discuss or make a point as to why it is wrong she writes me off. Very annoying.

I use to live in Sacramento 37 years ago. I had to move more than half way across the county with my 3 and 1 year old daughters. I was hunted down and even tho I moved to 2 different homes i was followed by something that looked like a huge black bird. I had many different church leaders come to my home and they were afraid. It was like whatever that thing was it didn't mind me it couldn't stand anyone else who would come in my house. When my 2nd daughter was born she was a week old and I heard a very loud sound coming from the room that her crib was in. I went to the door immediately and saw her crib rising at least a foot and a half off the ground and then dropping over and over again. I didn't know what to do so I yelled out in the name of Jesus Christ Satan be gone. The crib went to the floor and stayed there at which point i ran and grabbed her. She slept through the whole thing. I went through so 😂I have been asked many times to write a book and after I moved to the Midwest I got a call from a man who traveled the world studying different cults and he wanted to fly out and talk to me and write his own book. I went to a psychiatrist around 3 days after I arrived in the Midwest and gave her the information that I could prove because honestly I don't know if I would believed someone who told me that stuff. The psychiatrist gave me a piece of paper and told me to call the man immediately and she said that she was destroying anything that had my name on it or proof that I had been there. I had my dad call the man and he had an area code from Chicago. He was an ex detective and was a famous P.I. he wanted me and my daughters to go in the underground. But he said i could never have any contact with my family again. I had already lost my career that I loved and people who couldn't deal with what they saw. I left 2 cars and a new truck and a beautiful home. I came to the Midwest with the clothes on out back. I told my dad to tell him no i wasn't going to go to the underground. I actually a few months later and even more than just one time I saw that P.I. on CNN being interviewed by the news people. He would talk about some very serious cases that were usually unsolved yet. I ended up having 4 daughter's who were all 2 years apart and I had them baptized and raised them in the cathedral i had gone to and they received all their sacraments there as well. Once in awhile they will still go to church but not all the time. Ty for your videos i don't think people realize just how bad things can get and you don't have to have anything to do with it. I know there was a huge cult type group in Sacramento. They stalked me for a few years and even tried to kidnap me. I have no idea what they wanted with me tho. And then the entity in home that went from my home in Carmichael to my new home in Curtis Park. It did not follow me to the Midwest however. Blessed be to all of you
Interesting you bring up horror. I’ve thought about this a lot because I am a practicing Catholic and at the same time, spooky side. However, not to the point of wanting to summon demons or anything. Myself, I like the eerie - I listen to eerie music even going into the woods middle of nowhere to hike alone for the day. It is eerie and the music adds to it. Why do I do it? Well, I like it the same way maybe someone likes really hot sauce. Exploring the woods is fun for me, and I think it is normal otherwise they wouldn’t have all the outdoor equipment imaginable. A lot of people do. My style may be different and unique, but it’s adventurous and eerie at the same time. It does present dangers, getting lost, falling down/serious injury, large predatory animals/attacks - even human possibly. I carry a Ruger 44 magnum in a chest setup, so human attack is not so likely (bought the gun for aggressive black bears actually)… so I suppose just balance it. It’s one thing to enjoy getting the spooky on versus being curious and fascinated about evil. As for evil people or demons I learned a lot about them but in the way it is good ot know where the rocks are in the lake so you don’t run over them and damage your boat or engine. Study the lake so to speak - not to take dangerous risks but be knowledgeable and avoid risks.
My sister is a Jehovah's witness, her house is fully haunted by evil, I'm Protestant (we were born & raised Protestant). My sister has been physically hit, had a angry old man scream vile threats at her, has attacked her 12 year old son & terrorised her 10 year old daughter by moving things or she see shadow. They try to ignore it but it gas gone as far as affecting their cats to making cats not wanting to come inside. Is there anything, other than ignoring it, that my sister can do? She has had her church pray but that only causes more trouble

I think the idea is that we should look at those things as silly and not scary or not to believe any of that silly stuff holds power in any way. It is a testament to our faith. Not that I’m willing to do research on the topic in any way, but I don’t believe that the image in the thumbnail and name you mentioned is actually from scripture or our religion.
That is only my opinion on why they aren’t as afraid of these things.
