That was a brilliant idea! I love the soft pale colours you used. They created a really beautiful effect. I MUST try this! I have a drawing pad that I could cover with this method. Thank you so much for posting this! God bless you Paula!. 😀

This is a cool technique. I like how you replace the white circles with other coloured clay. You are so creative 👍

Pretty I like the colors together too.
Cernit is my favorite to work with. The Pardo takes Fimo Gel to not be so crumbly frustrating. Find Cernit is the clay I go to most for whatever project. In an earring phase lol

I'm brand new to polymer clay, and had an idea that was basically this technique. I haven't tried it yet, and I just stumbled on your video. Good to know the burnishing part, I wouldn't have thought to do that!
Thanks for sharing, those earrings are so pretty!

Only time I’ve seen it was the flowers from Susan and also a class done in cane form using a sliver from Dan n traci

I saw similar technique on Turtle soup beads channel. Susan made different coloured flower clayshit. I think you should keep the clay little bit more thicker. It will be helpful to handle the clay. After cutting and pasting the clay will become thinner. Thank you so much for sharing a nice tutorial.

Thanks for the feedback. I am happy working with the clay as I had it but I agree, it may be helpful for others. Totally their choice as I said in the tutorial. 😊
