David Wallace placates Michael because it’s the path of least resistance. Michael calling Dwight an idiot and saying he can’t trust Andy shows decent judgment however the rest is Looney Toons. I ❤ the Office
God I think the wedding scene is even worse than scotts tots. In the latter, its a slow crash that you know is inevitable, but god the wedding just keeeeeps getting worse 😭
In terms of of cringe yes the wedding was far more worse. But if it comes down to just simple terrible situation the Scott tots was much worse as it was basically just destroyed hopes and dreams of the kids.
I died of cringe watching Scott’s tots for the first time, even stopped the episode a few times fully prepared to dodge the show there and then. But I’ve come to terms with rewatching it now, at least you know how it ends. But Phyllis’s wedding being RUINED is never getting old, I’m so unhappy right now when I remembered all of this.
I still stand by the thought that whomever casted Holly’s character is an absolute genius. she doesn’t just ‘work’ for the role, just like Carrell, she embodies it inside & out. this will forever be my comfort show, always. when it moved to Peacock to squeeze as much money as possible out of its fans, I actually paid the monthly sub for 6 months just to have it playing when I sleep. Haven’t watched an episode in 2 years now, and I can’t lie I don’t like that fact.
When I was a wee lad I thought that colored paper came from trees that grew from planted colored pencils. I used to plant colored pencils all around the schoolyard only to be upset that none of them sprouted trees, much less colored paper.
I’ve always wanted to know what Pam made hourly as a receptionist , and the average salary of the accountants, Toby with HR, and creed, Meredith and Kelly with QA and customer service. Always figured Pam made 10-12$ hourly, accounting likely 40k at best, sales 30-55k annually, Toby and Michael likely made the most at 45k salary, Kelly likely 8-9$ hourly and Creed and Meredith probably less than 13$ an hour. As for Ryan temping probably blinking wage which explains why he never moved out of his mothers home 😂
