I actually liked the sniper characters in this game, they’re both powerful for what they are and have their roles set in stone, a sniper is supposed to be powerful at longer ranges but vulnerable to getting rushed down. Can you still quick scope, yes. It’s called get good and have game sense. Nice vid as always!
I've made many people extremely upset on tourist trap island lately using the roof glitch(you can climb on a roof next to the starting area, run around and use petal propeller to reach the roof, and now you have high ground and Regen on any hits less that 100(deadbeards literally can't kill you, neither can anybody else unless the hit you with at least 100 damage)
Fun fact:gw1 cactus has a different bullet a smaller red bullet compared to the gw2 big spiky bullet so she's the hardest character to aim and definitely need more skill to work with

Instead of potato mine you have spike weed, which can actually be better as a sniper, and instead of garlic drone you have something that can help you escape from close range situations. Chomper is built more like a sniper than cactus is.
The drones are significantly slower and more predictable in movement compared to gw 1 & 2, so to make up for this popcap decided that the drones should be able, to at random, survive damage that would otherwise kill the drone, even if they are at 1 hp, and the Pokémon ability “sturdy” ripoff effects can trigger multiple times even if the drone doesn’t heal, *a genius and well needed change like all others in this game*

If you did a git gud BFN captain deadbeard video, in which is a sniper class like the cactus, the upgrades I would use are incoming keg, shore leave, and heavy metal. The reason why I chose these upgrades because if you are doing a surprise attack on in enemy, use scurvy scattershot, then use should have a fully charge shot ready to go in case on emergency’s in some scenarios. shore leave is a great upgrade for him because you can use this to get to place as fast as possible, and I recommend you use the anchor with shore leave upgrade equip and use it constantly, to gain more speed in scenarios, also shore leave can combine the upgrade incoming keg, which grants you more movement speed while in the barrel.
Don't forget the upgrade that makes the enemy visible to you'r teammates when you shoot them. If they see someone escaping they will most likely go for the kill, making you refuel with a shared vanquish even if they scape from you lol

Proably for close range engagements. Since bfn lacks damage fall off I guess it was common sense they should have atlest some sort of defense at close range. That would of been much harder trying to shoot a sprinting target with the base shot of gw2
What to change about cactus, not that anyone asked for my opinion. Make alacrity actually work like it’s supposed to. Replace petal propeller with tall-nut battlement Make it so garlic drone can carry cactus around at the cost of faster duration drain. Make pressure point have spike strike push enemies like scuttle shot does instead of making them explode. That’s everything. Yes and also the bullet knockback is minor For gw2 cactus, people doesn't talk of it that much, but pop cap actually buffed cactus with gw2.

Cactus mains after litterally being able to make a drone build, causing lots of 9-0 death rates in combat cause they never run out of fuel.
