My daughter is athletic, her booty and thighs are bigger than others, but her waist and high hip are more average. What would be the best way to enlarge the pattern? The entire gap I need to add is wedge shape, 3" to 7". Should I slash down the middle of the front and back pieces and add 1.5" to 3.5" + seam allowance to each piece, or just add it to each side of the back seam? I am a newer sewing and this is my 1st knit project. I tend to over think these things. Thanks in advance for any advice.
Hi Leslie, I recommend only adding to each side of the back seam. Are you on Instagram? Perhaps message me there at @mango.coast, so we can further discuss what you can do with photo examples. 😊🪡🤍

My pleasure!! Thanks so much for the lovely feedback! 🤍🤍🤍
Can I still do this pattern without a serger?
Yes, you can! Use a zig zag stitch on your regular sewing machine. 😀

Salut! C'est mon plaisir! ☺️ Merci beaucoup! 🤍🤍🤍
Does this work for stretch fabrics only?
Hello Rachel, you can use non stretch fabrics as well, however depending on the type of fabric, you may have to size up or down. 🙂
