In my deepest heart, I always wish to have those kind of adult in my life. To notice me when I lack attention and not make me feel I was left out, abandoned, ignored me. To come at me and apologize for accident not paying attention to me and come find me and say “there you are, where are you? Hi there I would say that isn’t correct by any means, the part about those in larger families, in fact I’d say those in large families learn early on that we must make sacrifices for our siblings, and learn to wait and not be so demanding, I was second oldest of 4 children, I was born around the same time as my female cousins and there where 5 of us around my age, my lil sis the youngest, I was the second youngest out of the female cousins. everyone thought my sister and I where twins. Then my little brother was born and my aunts and uncles had kids at the same time. And I’d say many times I would sacrifice my wants and needs to please and satisfy my older brothers demanding nature ,my younger sister and my mother. I learnt to shoulder sacrifice and responsibility from a young age, obviously sometimes I’d feel upset about things when your young even if your conscious about your patience and sacrifice your making doesn’t make it easy to do. But yeah it’s difficult changing ones nature, I’m in uni now doing law and because my whole life I’ve been calm and considerate it’s difficult to start taking, for me its so against my being that I feel uncomfortable. I’d say it’s not true that you need to be forceful and just take in order to be valued and move forward. Taking is a very masculine trait, and the feminine of society must be equally valued and I do believe consideration and calmness are valued so I’m fine with becoming a bit more assertive but I value who I am also 💜

Honestly this whole comment??... Relatable. I hate crying in front of people bc I used to cry a lot when I was younger (as a result of my brother and I fighting and ME getting pinned for it even though he started it 95% of the time). I think after a while I just realised that nobody payed attention that I cried and by reaction no one cared for my feelings. So I just stopped crying, let myself be pushed around, and kept quiet all the time. If you've seen every episode, you'd realised that Somin will let her sit on her lap during meals time and feed her. But Somin seldom do that to other kids. Even a mother have their own favourite child no matter when a mother says they'll love their child's equally. I have a nephew whom very closed to me. No matter what his mom asked him to do, he'd definitely only listen to me. This is bcoz since he was a child I give him extra attention and love compare to his other siblings. Kids when you give them extra care and love, they will definitely love you and this can also leads to them only want your attention and care to be focused on them only. This is what happened to YooJin. During meals time Somin always sit next to YooJin and feed her. You can watch every episodes again. There's maybe one or two times that she didn't sit next to her. That time is when Seunggi or Na Rae is feeding her. And after this (next coming episodes), I think Somin will gives extra care/attention too, after the almost drown incident, as she might feel responsible and guilty about it. It's human conscience ..

I learnt to shoulder sacrifice and responsibility from a young age, obviously sometimes I’d feel upset about things when your young even if your conscious about your patience and sacrifice your making doesn’t make it easy to do. But yeah it’s difficult changing ones nature, I’m in uni now doing law and because my whole life I’ve been calm and considerate it’s difficult to start taking, for me its so against my being that I feel uncomfortable. I’d say it’s not true that you need to be forceful and just take in order to be valued and move forward. Taking is a very masculine trait, and the feminine of society must be equally valued and I do believe consideration and calmness are valued so I’m fine with becoming a bit more assertive but I value who I am also 💜

I think it's really sweet of So Min to be so comforting, and to apologize too because in a way, she validated how the child felt. I've seen some parents who would rather laugh and dismiss the child's reason for crying as something completely silly.

The youngest ones since they're all grown up now kinda suffers from her antics though 🤣 I started living alone 8 years ago, so, I basically don't have to share anymore, but they still live in the ancestral house with my parents so, rules and regulations apply. 🤣

Honestly this whole comment??... Relatable. I hate crying in front of people bc I used to cry a lot when I was younger (as a result of my brother and I fighting and ME getting pinned for it even though he started it 95% of the time). I think after a while I just realised that nobody payed attention that I cried and by reaction no one cared for my feelings. So I just stopped crying, let myself be pushed around, and kept quiet all the time. I still do that as my default but now that my parents know abt it, whenever I'm really quiet when they're talking in a group discussion they always make sure to ask how I feel (which honestly makes me feel even worse). you can tell how nice she is and how she tries so hard to make things right even though she's hurting, she's still a small kid so things like that can be pretty rough to her, but she managed to stay calm and even tried to not "ruin" the mood or worry others :(

I think it's bcoz So Min only gives extra attention and care to Yoo Jin the youngest that she overlooked that other kids needs care and attention too. While Seungi treats them fairly and equally. He loves all of them equally without paying more attention towards certain kids. That's from what I see from every episodes 1-11

No hate to Somin at all, I even watched this show because of her but both her and Mr. Lee have their favorite child that they sometimes overlooks the other kids specially Ga On. If you've seen every episode, you'd realised that Somin will let her sit on her lap during meals time and feed her. But Somin seldom do that to other kids. Even a mother have their own favourite child no matter when a mother says they'll love their child's equally. I have a nephew whom very closed to me. No matter what his mom asked him to do, he'd definitely only listen to me. This is bcoz since he was a child I give him extra attention and love compare to his other siblings. Kids when you give them extra care and love, they will definitely love you and this can also leads to them only want your attention and care to be focused on them only. This is what happened to YooJin. During meals time Somin always sit next to YooJin and feed her. You can watch every episodes again. There's maybe one or two times that she didn't sit next to her. That time is when Seunggi or Na Rae is feeding her. And after this (next coming episodes), I think Somin will gives extra care/attention too, after the almost drown incident, as she might feel responsible and guilty about it. It's human conscience ..
Hany N you can tell from the first episode that Yoojin was attached to somin. also, I remember somin putting yihan on her lap when they were convincing him to let seunggi pull his tooth out. I've seen brooke on her lap too. the other cast members has a kid whose attached to them.
