Hey! :) Don't be lost. Start by researching about coaching centres in your city or town. If they are not available, start by reading up about the examination and everything there is to learn. I am here making videos about everything I know, but it's always good to research independently too :)

Hey Shivangi di ! I have to appear in NIFT Exam on 21st Jan and I am so stressed up coz my boards are also approaching so I have to manage two exams simultaneously. Well, thats not an isuue the thing is that I really hate maths and I won't be able to do well in maths portion of GAT. Please help! I researched a lot on the sub divisions of marks but all in vain, so can you please help me out, If I did not correctly answer the Analytical ability and Quantitative part on a whole, how will it affect the over all marks if I did great in CAT or even Situation test, interview ahead. If I lost marks in all maths portion , ut did well in gk english and rest CAT? Also, what is the division for marks of GAT for the MATHS portion? :( Since GAT is only 30% which further means that maths part will only be of a little bit weight age no? Please help me out :(

Hi, So the entrance exam generally happens during and around 12th Boards. You can prepare along with your boards or take a drop year and give it a shot. That depends on you :)

Also, talk to your school seniors and see their work. See the kind of things they've learned in both the streams and then take a call. :)
Hey di! I'm in 11th right now and I'm in a lot of confusion regarding coachings. All my friends have joined some or the other coaching for nift. Is it really necessary to join one and if not what should I practice at home? And if I'm joining one, how do I know which one's the best for me?
Sukriti M. You don’t need to study at coaching centres to crack NIFT. You can study at home as well. Its all about being disciplined and organised which a coaching centre helps you get. However if you do want to enroll, I would suggest looking at past alumnis and the students that made it in. Anyone who’s studied at the coaching classes you want to enroll in. Ask them about their experiences and then talk to the teachers there. Try and understand the course module and the qualifications of the teachers. Also it will help to know how old the institute is. All these things put together would help you make your choice. :)
Shivangi Lahoty there's one big institute where like almost everyone's going. But the fees is really really huge. So I'm planning to go to some other coaching but I'm really afraid that I'll not get everything which the former would provide. Kindly help really confused...Also thanks for replying❤
hey didi.. can you approximately let me know the cut off. i know it totally depends on the level of the papeR, ' NUMBER of students and seats AND itS of no use just clearing and getting a centre somewhere .in 2016 it was 47 in 17 50.2 how much do you feel it would be in 2018.... a rough idea of how much you are expecting it to be and also generally how much do ppl score in the cat part in general i did my gat well id get around 80 FOR SURE AND THE REST I MIGHT I MIGHT NOT and cat i did well but i dont really know on what aspect would they judge us as the paper was too easy..so any idea about the CAT?.. are there any chances of the cut off to rise upto 60? Hey di! I'm in 11th right now and I'm in a lot of confusion regarding coachings. All my friends have joined some or the other coaching for nift. Is it really necessary to join one and if not what should I practice at home? And if I'm joining one, how do I know which one's the best for me?

Sukriti M. You don’t need to study at coaching centres to crack NIFT. You can study at home as well. Its all about being disciplined and organised which a coaching centre helps you get. However if you do want to enroll, I would suggest looking at past alumnis and the students that made it in. Anyone who’s studied at the coaching classes you want to enroll in. Ask them about their experiences and then talk to the teachers there. Try and understand the course module and the qualifications of the teachers. Also it will help to know how old the institute is. All these things put together would help you make your choice. :)
Shivangi Lahoty there's one big institute where like almost everyone's going. But the fees is really really huge. So I'm planning to go to some other coaching but I'm really afraid that I'll not get everything which the former would provide. Kindly help really confused...Also thanks for replying❤

hey didi.. can you approximately let me know the cut off. i know it totally depends on the level of the papeR, ' NUMBER of students and seats AND itS of no use just clearing and getting a centre somewhere .in 2016 it was 47 in 17 50.2 how much do you feel it would be in 2018.... a rough idea of how much you are expecting it to be and also generally how much do ppl score in the cat part in general i did my gat well id get around 80 FOR SURE AND THE REST I MIGHT I MIGHT NOT and cat i did well but i dont really know on what aspect would they judge us as the paper was too easy..so any idea about the CAT?.. are there any chances of the cut off to rise upto 60? IM SORRY TO DISTURB YOU BUT PLS DO REPLY WHEN YOU NOTICE THIS MESSAGE . IT WILL BE OF GREAT HELP

Because they don’t expect you to understand fashion before joining design school. They are judging you on your creativity :)
