Zyger you really stepped up! I de-followed you couple months ago, because I found your content to be superficial. But all those videos your posting lately are a) helpful, b) fast paced and 3) relevant for GDs. Good job!
if you don't need to do anything based on its current state, then just save the current time when the user leaves, save the time when the user returns and just add the time that has passed.
If you're getting Internal Server Errors when trying to start the session, check your platform. If you're using Steam, you should supply a valid SteamID, not a random GUID. I'd imagine that applies to other official platforms too (like PlayStation Network, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Epic Store)
I'm having an error on this line. LevelSlider.maxValue = response.level_thresholds.next - (float)response.xp - int.Parse(xpIncreaseAmount.text); Cannot implicitly convert type 'float?' to 'float'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?)
I didn't know I need this until I stumbled upon this tutorial. That's how I'll implement some leveling in my game
We need more tutorials from you Zyger.
more will come :D

Solved this by putting ??0 at the end of (float)response.xp.
