(This turns into a vent now; TL;DR: My mom manipulated me for my entire life and that made me lose trust in anyone actually having a heart.)
Growing up, my mother had the average expectations of most parents; they want their kid to succeed. She always told me to follow my dreams and always supported me in pursuing them. In that way, she was a good mother, but she was a terrible person. For my entire life, my mother would gaslight and guilt trip everyone in my family, my father, two brothers, and sister. It might have been caused by how she was raised as her mother was an Asian immigrant to America and taught filial piety (respect your elders) so my mother always demanded respect. If we interrupted her in any way (it could even be 2 people in an entirely different conversation accidentally talking over her), she would begin to go on a ramble how nobody respects her and we all don't give a shit about what she wants to say. She'd then proceed to storm out the room and stay in an agitated mood for the rest of that day and the next. This was ever since I was around 7 years old. She kept up this behavior, and I had started to develop suicidal thoughts at the age of 9. These thoughts still persist, although it's due to me feeling bored with my life (nothing left to do with it) rather than hatred for myself. My sister once went to her and told her that she wanted to harm/kill herself (she was 10 or 11). My mom (dad was at work) told her that she has so much and shouldn't feel like that. She said that she's basically stupid for feeling that way and that she was an ungrateful brat. After hearing that response, every kid learned that we should hide our emotions from her. As I grew older and began to find a passion for psychology, I slowly realized not only how shitty of a person my mother was, but also how much she had manipulated everyone she knew, specifically how much she had mentally abused me. When I was 14, she was ranting to my sister about how I was one of the worst people she had ever met. She said "I don't even know what to do with them anymore," and "If they weren't my child, I wouldn't even talk to them." For the next couple of months, something slowly began to change for me. I began to realize I wasn't the person in the wrong, and rather my mom made me believe I was. After that, I stopped feeling the normal amount of empathy I used to, most likely to stop me for falling for her guilt tripping. I stopped caring about most people, and didn't get that close to others anymore. The only person I really had was my sister. Dw though I'm doing alr now

That's such an incorrect statement lmao. What is it exactly that makes her smarter?
If miles went to a public school his scored would be ignored and he'd just get failed at the end of the year.
He really tried to dumb down and say "Decembruary"
Either that or Decembruary is legit a month on _Into The Spider-Verse_ Earth-1610
Edit: Apparently it’s not
@@kikiretzorg1467 No im pretty sure its a real month added in as a secret to show the differing universes
Edit: Guess I was wrong to lmao
@@kikiretzorg1467 yeah its a detail that shows that miles wanted to quit, i found this out when the movie was new, and no theres no difference in the months between the universes, well some universes
“Milos” 💀
This right here is the definition of “too smart for your own good“
I'll try scoring a zero on my next test. Hope the teacher bumps my score to an 100 :)
If all the questions on it are true or false, then yeah it might work. Otherwise, you're probably screwed
It only worked because the test only had 2 answers for each question. So you actually had to know the right answer to intentionally score 0
To be fair it's not like he actually got the 100 and then was told to be on his merry way...
Dude got an extra essay to write on what he wants from his life
In tech school the passing grade was 70%. My teacher said that anyone could get 100% every quiz. But only the real smart kids could get only 70% exactly on every single quiz.
I love that she shows up in the second movie at the party for Miles's Dad. It is such a tiny, fast cameo, but it shows that she actually made an impact on Miles's life at school and became good enough friends with the family to be invited to an event like that. Just such high quality movie making... one split second cameo most people probably didn't even notice spoke volumes. They didn't have to do it, they could have mailed it in with a random face in the crowd, but no, they took the time.
I wouldn't quit if I had a teacher like that.
@@origamiman7891 nah I know hailee steinfeld's voice and she doesn't sound exactly like that
Nah bro fr i be getting 100% everyday from that class if i was miles lol
I love how he not only put in the effort to solve every question correctly on the exam, but put his full name, took the time to think of and write out an entire fake month, and the year. He’s clearly willing to try, he just needs to put that effort into succeeding, not failing.
Bro wanted to fail so badly he spelled “Decmburary” 💀
Decembruary.*
If you’re going to misspell word, then misspell it right. I can’t believe I said that.
@@stephenking5852 i can't believe you care about a misspell of a misspell of a *meespell*.
@@stephenking5852 ah, a grammar nazi. Haven’t seen your kind since the late 00’s.
Gotta love miles being super smart and trying to play dumb
"Uhh, whos morales?"
Bro failed so hard he looped right back around into passing.
Task failed successfully
That's what happens in Decembruary I guess?
I once saw a teacher get very annoyed because the quiz program made 53% of the answers C and the one kid who did the zero effort "always pick C" actually got a passing mark@@darthnoxthegerman
A science teacher gave us this option. If we shot the moon by getting a zero we would get 150% on the test by this exact logic thought it was multiple choice rather than just true false. But if we got even a single question right that would be our score. Tough choice but a fun option if you went into a final needing a great score.
Not just passing - acing
