I've known number 7, Jacob, since high-school club volleyball. Funny thing is, his high school didn't have a team, so he only played club, and for most of his club career, he played opposite instead of outside
I watched him play for Ohio State last school year and I could tell right away that he was talented. I’m sad he’s not on OSU now but I’m also content knowing that in being on a team with some of the best players in the world, that he can use his talent to the best of his abilities. He’s a great player.
Absolute elite volleyball right there. That #7 kid quick and has a good arm swing. Also the setter is on point. And that middle #26 gets up to the clouds man😳👍🏼🤙🏼
This is when too much height becomes detrimental in volleyball. He doesn't have the best foot work or arm swing mechanics to time hitting harder/ out of system sets
USA's DEFENSE sucks. They have good offense, but the balance isn't there for defense. If you take a look at the Japanese younger roster...They are so balanced in offense and defense. I guess USA only focuses on offense. They need to work on their player's court awareness and ball control. Also, the tempo of the USA's team is a bit slower than the Japanese's tempo. I'm comparing USA and JAPAN because you can see a world of difference in terms of ball control, defense, tempo, and even running plays.
Japan excels in defense cause they lack height. They have amazing offense as well but the height really is a disadvantage especially if you're facing against giants.
@Volleyball Source 2.0 Who is "going off"??🤷🏽♂🤷🏽♂ What is your definition of "going off"? Why are you trying to make more of this?? I'm not "going off" in any manner, just expressing my opinion. You cannot tell me that an endline view is A BETTER view than the split /center court view that shows both sides of the court simultaneously.

@@Bigboibeven I’ve looked into what you’ve said and I think I’m mistaken. He still plays for OSU, he just is going to practices for team USA now.

9:10 USA middle hitter #25 is UP THERE. Belly button at the top of the net.
No. 26's got insane bounce
Reminds me of patch
Look how high he's in the air here 8:03
9:11 2 guys flew that time ghadamn.
@1:40 Proves you can use an overhand finger hit on a serve.
13:02 super great awareness by middle
Love To Watch This Angle Video A lots Of Love From 🇵🇰 USA Team Played Well 👍
What's crazy is #22 says serve area 4 and #9 hits the tape to make it go to area 4
26 is from USC right? Same guy who was in Victoria’s video?
Nah that’s definitely the guy from UCLA
USA # 7 is a beast!
Ty for posting. Cool
This USA team is am absolute unit
what happened to Chile #17?
he got a cervical injure
who is who? where is the score?
im not an expert by any means but why is the us opposite tipping so much when he has the height to put away difficult sets
sometimes its safer/ throws off the defense if the tip is perfectly placed, that's my guess
This is a common problem for him. His form is kinda clunky too which makes for inconsistent spiking but when he hits, it looks like a missile lol
@@darknemesis9225 I know what a tip is just feel like hes using it to play it safe and its clearly not working offensively
@@nathancerbo7050 I see, maybe he doesnt have a vb background but is given a chance? that'd be cool

What camera do you use?!?!?!
9:10
Hey, what camera do you use?
#26 is built like a high jumper, gahlee his belly button is above the freakin' net!
Isaacson is a baller 👌
nice to play without a serve horn
#9 and #22 damn
McHenry #26, is basically what Daenan Gyimah 'kofi' would be. shame he never pursued anything after college vball
Lol McHenry has a long way to go before he’s anywhere close to what Kofi was
damn is number 21 mason briggs from long beach??
grande chile ctm 😍
Why do all these teams (except for u.s.) only set to outside tf
How tall is the #9
6’10. Bro might be bigger than the middle
I see OOS Gage and the new generation looking FUCKING GOOD 🤙🏽
Let's go boys!
Number 22 anyone knoe
no audience?
Muy entretenido
