    it's cool to see loads of modellers have the iconic TS+5150 sort of tone in there
    low cuts after the amp/cab block i usually go around 80hz, and use a multiband compressor (fractal unit), or you can use EQ to lower the boomy chug sound between 100-200 or so hz, i guess the 150hz lowcut would help with that but i feel it takes away too much of the girth/chug from the guitar
    all down to taste either way

    • @GuitarCinemaOfficial
      @GuitarCinemaOfficial  10 місяців тому +1

      Agreed some amp models I won't low cut as much as it will be too tinny.

    Tube Screamer (OD) + Gate + Crunch channel for me is the best rhythm combo. Period.
    However, for lead, I turn off the Tube screamer and Gate and use the lead channel. The reason for this is because the noise gate chokes your sustain.

    • @GuitarCinemaOfficial
      @GuitarCinemaOfficial  10 місяців тому

      Fair comments. I normally have the gate low enough to not kill any sustain but then again my playing isn't going to trouble Gary Moore anytime soon 😂

    Amazing video!!! In a bedroom setting, playing for yourself and for fun, do you prefer running the unit into the return of a tube amp (so I can just use the combo as a powered speaker, but amps, effects and cabs come from my pedal), or into a FRFR speaker? I used to run it into the power amp in of my catalyst 60, and always keep cabs on, since without IR's, it sounded horrible. I now run into the return of my blackstar HT-5 and honestly, the tube power section sounds amazing. Is there any merit to using a FRFR for a better experience?
