These are the 240 volt curtain motors we carry for center roll up curtains.
If you're looking for a 240 volt AC curtain motor rolling up, you want a nice compact unit, we've got three options for you to consider. So these are for roll up curtains. What that means, these motors go right on the end of the curtain. You have a curtain going out both ways, and it rolls up. This is not for when you have a cable pull, where you have a cable going out and the curtains drop.
This is simply for when the curtain rolls up. This little guy will handle about 130 feet, 130 foot long, with a 2 inch roll pipe. This one will handle around 250 foot, and this one will get you up to 350 feet, somewhere around 400 feet. As long as everything's installed right. If it's not installed right, they go really hard.
So how you use them is you got, you need an adapter to go to your curtain roll pipe. You slide this in and you put one on each side as the motor turns, it goes up with it. And then you adjust how far up it goes with these limit switches. Each one of these motors has limit switches. This one's on the inside.
So you got to take the cover off. But in the grand scheme of things, they always have two limits. You have one knob for the top position when you're fully open. The other knob's for the bottom limit. So it just goes as long as you give it electric, it's going to head one direction or the other. We have videos on the limit switches and if you're trying to set them.
Check out our website. Maybe we'll put a link in here for some of the others. That's one thing you should understand with a curtain. You always need limit switches because that keeps it from wrapping up too tight. Uh, limit switches are a critical part of having automated curtains. So back to the 240 volt.
You got 240 volt. You'll have three conductors per. If you're installing it, you'll have a ground and then open, close and line two on each of these. The other accessory we think is really important cable carrier. This you, you slide your cable through here, down through here as a motor travels up and down the side of the barn, keeps the cable from getting wrapped in the curtain years ago, before they had this, they had weights and pulleys and all kinds of fancy stuff to try to keep the cable out of harm's way, but with our cable, inexpensive cable carrier, it makes it easy.
So if you've got a livestock barn. And want to automate your curtains, this is what you do. You've got to have a curtain that rolls from the bottom, and we'll have everything to help you connect to it. We have different size adapters, and the different small parts that it takes to make your existing curtain automated.
If you put together your own curtain systems and install at least 100 curtains a year, it would be well worth your time to give us a call and get set up at, with discounts, because we are looking for people who do. Repeat installations. And then we help you get a guide and a documented way of doing it so that you don't have much technical support from your end customers.
