This resonated so much with me. I met someone three weeks ago, who told me he’s broke and not ready. We agreed to be friends, but he just disappeared out of my life a few day after I met him. I totally understand, and hope that I run into him someday, to say thank you for not wanting to involve me in his chaotic life.
He did tell me He told me last night he loved me, and wanted to be with me then woke up this morning and told me his past has come back and he is confused and messed up So i told him i release him and wish the best for him He was appreciative of my reaction he did tell me he felt depressed and sad for hurting me. So i told him no matter what we can remain friends then he completely opened up and we are now on a really better connection He has planned a weekend away for us was.

Don't rely on these things to make a decision. It's basically like listening to your friends for suggestion on your relationship. They will always protect you by saying the stuff it's needed to do the opposite. But they aren't in the relationship with you and the other. The advices from others aren't really feeling what you feel they're probably happy with their relationship. Lol I know a lot of couples that if they listen to their parents, they wouldn't be here today with kids and a spouse.
Well they broke up with me then started seeing someone else, so obviously ready to see someone else, just not me
