The Emmy-nominated series delves into the juicy, smoky world of barbecue, visiting acclaimed chefs and pitmasters in the US, Australia and Mexico.
“Some of ‘em, I’ll never see ‘em again, but I’m happy that I made them happy.” ♥️♥️♥️♥️
And that is barbeque.
wow it's like we watched the same video. Crazyy
That's what she said.
I am outraged that netflix does propaganda for filthy meat eaters
@@pierrelemagnifique205 go suck on a lettuce we don't bother you so don't bother us meatlovers
I was crying so bad with Tootsie's story and her gorgeous barbecue and then I saw Rosalia's story... I was bawling and craving so much food at the same time. (I'm Mexican and so proud of our culinary heritage)... what a beautiful production. ❤🥰 bravo Netflix.
Clari CS I’m a Brazilian-American and I cried too
I cried with Tootsie's story too :(
Chef’s Table is the best documentary by Netflix by a long shot
Wish come in hindi language also love to see
Streetfood is also really compelling.
I highly disagree but it is a very good documentary.
I prefer Last Chance U but Chef's Table is Indeed a very good one too. Honestly most of their content about food is
@@lisakisch1303 Streetfood is a spin off of chef's table. Same creators which explains the similar cinematography and story telling. I really enjoy Street food as well
I met Ms. Tootsie and I was star struck when I met her . All the respect to this lady . I’ve been to her bbq joint and it’s an hour drive from Austin Texas. You gotta get up early . I got there at 7:10am and there were 36 folks ahead of me . It’s worth it .
As much as I love Franklin it's good to see a different legendary Texas barbecue being featured.
Tootsie is awesome and always worth the drive to Lexington.
@@joelrodriguez9661 Haven't been but its on the list now. If this pandemic ever lifts...
I wish we got more then 4 episodes
There’s so many pitmasters here in Texas honestly. From Desert Oak in El Paso, 2M in San Antonio, Blacks in Lockhart..the list just goes on and on
I never thought BBQ could be this dramatic
Smoke a whole Brisket and youll understand its more than dramatic. Its a performance
Adam T well said
Yeh the show is kind of drama.. Dont like it
Then you need to put time and effort into a slow smoking session. It’s get pretty damned dramatic when you’re fighting a brisket stall!
It isn’t.
My favorite episode by a long shot was from Ms. Rosalia--the Mayan traditionalist. There's just something about the culture in Mexico that grabs you. I mean, don't get me wrong, the entire season was amazing, as always, but something about this lady just touched my soul. It's quite a masterpiece of an episode.
"The Emmy-nominated series shifts its focus to the art of the barbecue, featuring accomplished chefs from the US, Australia and Mexico."
MMMMM.... You had me at barbecue. This video makes me want to watch.
How man Emmy Awards?
Ron swanson is that you
Yucatecan food in Mexico is delicious, the Mayan heritage and knowledge has been preserved and enriched with other cultures, predominantly Spanish, Lebanese. As well as the use of European ingredients such as Dutch cheese (Edam).
My stomach is so happy right now.
My wallet: _...that can't be good_
Ms. Tootsie! We love you, this is amazing, you are the true heart of BBQ!
Never watch with an empty stomach.
I did :'(
And never watch while eating. Food stops tasting. Not tasting good/bad, stops tasting like anything at all.
Jesus, I'm so Craving it now....
I gotta find my way down to Snow's while Tootsie is still around! Talk about an amazing story!
I just can't get enough of Chef's Table helped me discover gems like Grant and Gaggan
My favorite is Francis mallmann
This is a beautifully well-done documentary series. The art of putting this together along with the chef's storytelling and the cinematography is such a pure joy to see on screen. So far I have seen the first 3 episodes and they have been incredible. This documentary series takes you on the journey of these bbq masters from good to bad, sometimes sad, and then a triumphant ending that will bring you to tears at times because you're so emotionally invested in watching them succeed. It's a truly amazing show.
Bravo Netflix, bravo!
Who else feels guilty that UA-cam algorithms knows him/her so well?
While I thoroughly enjoy Chef's Table's focus on Michelin star and James Beard awarded chefs at very high end restaurants, no cooking documentary series would be complete without focusing on open fire cooking. Its about time that Chef's Table did this, and I am glad they are devoting an entire series to BBQ. Chef's Table is more than expertly shot biographical accounts of chef's lives and gastronomical innovations. Its about how culture affects chefs and how their culinary innovations affect culture. No better place embodies that dynamic more than the very style of cooking - over an open fire - which many anthropologists argue was so instrumental to us being the species we are today.
They made an episode about Francis Mallmann on the first or second season. They, rightfully, paid attention to open fire cooking since the beginning.
Chef Table is one of the best documentaries. I want more food content🤤🤤
Yessss, finally Barbeque is making it to Chefs Table, such an underrated cuisine!
First time I saw the show I was mind blown! It's not a simple documentary, it's life lessons and entertainment all packed in one meal.
And here I am in the backyard, putting some burgers on my Weber kettle lol
I've met Tootsie before and she's the nicest lady. Her BBQ is also the best in Texas.
Me : Still watching Chef's table season 6
Netflix : MORE!!!! MORE!!!!
Go Rodney Scott South Carolina Proud!
Chef's Table is by far the best food show/documentary on any network. It is so much more than just food. Can't wait for this!!
I'm from Singapore and the best barbecue I've had was in Austin, Texas on a business trip. Just like 1:31
I'm looking forward to discovering pitmasters I've never heard of, because this series is so good at highlighting chefs that aren't run of the mill.
GAWD WAS I DROOLING JUST WATCHING THE TRAILER!
🤤😋
That’s absolutely true. I tell everyone exactly how I cook. I tell them time, temp, rub, wood, etc... But they always come back asking me to do it.
They'll get better with time, and I'm sure they appreciate your advice. Like Aaron Franklin says, the only way to learn how to make good barbecue is by making a lot of bad barbecue.
Joseph Schmoe I agree. I was terrible at first too. But after years of cooking and attempting new things, I’m only slightly better than terrible. It’s all about not giving it up because it’s too much of a hassle.
@@bradleybiederer8796 ... I'd love to give it a shot, sometime, but I don't have the right equipment to really do it justice.
And, I bet you're better than "slightly better than terrible."
Joseph Schmoe you know what they say the two best times to start something are 5 years ago and today.
Your Street Food Series And Now Chef's Table I.M.H.O are your best program's...I've been blessed to live in many place's one being Tulum, Mexico...My neighbor's we're Mayan and shared traditional dishes, simply delicious, and I loved when they spoke in the traditional language...kind and humble people...Orginally from Texas, now living in Portugal...Keep On Cooking!
I was really impressed by the Chef's Table: BBQ documentary series on Netflix. It showed the vast differences between Caucasian shish kebab and American barbecue in great detail, leaving me with a newfound appreciation. The preparation and presentation of each BBQ dish was so intricate and well done that I couldn't help but be enthralled! Highly recommend watching this if you're interested in learning more about BBQ culinary styles!
This is the type of shit I live for, love food docs. I feel empty ever since Bourdain passed.
The best documentary that you guys have done to date! Thank you so much. From a bbq obsesser.
Chef's table is the best documentary of Netflix and is the series that make me a fan of cuisine.
Even though I’m sad a Eastern NC pit master didn’t make the doc, seeing Rodney holding it down for the Whole Hog makes me feel better. The man knows his shit
Eastern NC BBQ is the best. Go Pirates!
J C PURPLEEEEEE
@@joshuaprice7306 Gooooooooold!
Snow’s BBQ lovers represent!
Thank God Chef's Table is back!
I loved the episode with the indigenous woman. and I loved that they showed how diverse Mexico is. But specially how unfairly indigenous Mexicans/darker Mexicans get treated. I wish they would’ve showed Afro Mexicans and Asian Mexicans
Most of the chef I have seen them on UA-cam, now they're in one single video
I am getting the Avengers vibes
Cooking a whole hog is a thing a pit master should be on tv for. Thank you Netflix for honoring them. This is an art form no one should take lightly. One false move and people could get food poisoning.
Netflix you should make an episode of bbq in China. so much variety and history. bbq in Middle East is good too!
The best cooking documentary ever !!
Great, a series about BBQ without a single chef from Brazil or Argentina. You had one job, Netflix.
@DK H And yet I still have the right to complain about it. Peace.
The season of Chef's Table I've been waiting for. Sad to see no Asian BBQ Chefs though.
Oh yeah, another masterpiece added to my collection, the original chef table, street food series, and this one too 👏🏻
This was deliciously uplifting. What an absolute joy. I love to cook and I love a good fighting spirit. This was awesome. Now I wish I could get me some of that beautiful brisket. 👍
Tootsie is a straight LEGEND! Love that woman. I’m watching for sure
Holy shit, who ever put that together killed it!
Really love this sort of food and gastronomy shows from Netflix. Keep 'em coming
Food from Yucatan is something else, the mix from Mayan food and centuries of clash with the European food the result is awesome ( In general all Mexican food)
Vegans are gonna be real pissed off at Netflix now!
BBQ started as a preserving, smoking, and drying... Long live the Caveman!
@Stop the BS It was the native americans. Even the word barbecue comes from the root barbacoa. To cook under the ground... low and slow
I am from Texas and love barbecue!! I need to be a taste tester..time to take some road trips
This new season should include a new episode of Francis Mallman. It suits perfect!
Was already covered in main series. Some also asked about him, is in season 3
This is so well made, my go to and it was so well made. This is more than a doc about BBQ.
Best show on TV gets even better? Sign me up.
I have been waiting for a new one....best netflix show of all time.
So many other cultures to explore. I really hope you produce another season which covers Africa, Asia and Australian Aboriginal cooking styles... Nevertheless excited as always
I'm getting hungry just watching this trailer. 😋
This is the best documentary on Netflix. I’m surprised no Aaron Franklin for this one tho?
Bbq really requires a skill that only a few can master, it’s a world of it’s own
We just not going to talk about how this woman just flat out puts her hand on a burning hot grill??
Well that's Tootsie for ya. Seen her a couple times on several BBQ oriented shows and she's ones hell of a cool character. She's been doing that for 50 years so I don't think she minds the heat at all by this point.
Rodney scott, tootsie t etc, other media outlet has already show their story here on UA-cam, vice media etc. Honestly, It’s a replay for me.
The fire is in control
For anyone who is contemplating watching this, stop contemplating. Every episode is absolutely fantastic. The parts of the episodes about the food is clearly unreal but in every episode, the people themselves are just as amazing.
🤤 I can't wait...I love this series. Watching it in 4K tho 😯
He grilled the lettuce!
Wait gordon ramsay :))
Can someone tell me whats that song playing in the background??
For a food show this trailer has me ready to run through a wall
it's bbq!..nuff said! 🔥
How can you make a BBQ version and not include anyone from Brazil or Argentina??
Uruguay says hi
They did an excellent episode on Argentine Francis Mallmann in season 1. One of my favorite CT episodes. Give that one a watch for some creative open fire bbq!
As an American in really interested in seeing the Australian episode.
Franklins BBQ needs its own Chefs Table Episode
Can't wait for the south park episode about how Netflix makes a documentary about literally anything
COME ON NETFLIX....REALLY!!!
IM TRYING TO STAY FIT BUT...I NEED THIS BBQ!
I LOVE CHEF'S TABLE!!!
Everyone who watched this mouth drooled.
i was drooling by the end
Best program
Damn, I wish they included Aaron Franklin. Still looking forward to watching it.
I knew it was Rodney Scott from the voice. This is gonna be a good one.
YESS! This is one of my favorite documentary series. It's not just about amazing food but the tremendous talent and their craftsmanship.
For sure a must watch. I m hungry already.
Stay safe everyone !!
Damn bro Mrs Tootsie u got me crying like a baby 😢😢😢 ur a God
Really Excited 😁😀☺️🤠
Please more series about BBQ :)
Just watched the Lenox Hastie episode and I'm feeling inspired.
Television has officially peaked with this. I can't wait.
Love this series, and this looks particularly awesome.👍👍
Tootsie is a legit gangsta!!
The avengers of cooking with fire
Eastern NC BBQ is the best! :D
I Want Some BBQ Now With Some Yams And Mac & Cheese And Some Delicious Corn Bread 😭 😂
"That's barbecue". They just forgot to tell that it boost your belly growth like nothing else! But totally worth it!
Beautiful show. Would've been great if they had Korean BBQ included
