I admire both Calvin & Hobbes plus the thought that went into this video. I do wonder about the copyrights, etc. The wisdom expressed in Mr Watterson's work is matched by Peanuts and Pearls Before Swine and very few others.
Yes, I was wondering if UA-cam would notice copyright on either the visuals or the audio. But these strips have been available elsewhere online for longer, like on Pinterest.
😌 Well I appreciate it dang it, I’ve had to buy books twice because people are dumb. Definitely something I love and think more people should have in their life 😂
As a consultant he needs to charge more to be credible. He also needs to charge by the hour. In consulting, the higher your rates, the smarter you must be. Calvin should charge $1200/hour, or $8000/day.
Calvin seems to be the cartoonist's way of getting revenge on companies that supply rubbish services. Only Calvin is a little boy who acts foolishlessly. Is foolish a total definition of those companies? Is Calvin a person we must reform or is he just a scapegoat for our dissatisfactions with society?
Genius
I miss Calvin and Hobbes. They were the best cartoon in the newspaper 🗞. I bought several of their books of cartoons.
I have them all! I had them in my attic for so many years.
A swift kick in the butt has always been my favorite and I even had it on my wall in my cube!
0:43 MANY people today would have NO CLUE what that book on the table is.
7:13 The "writer's block" is GENIUS!
@@enderslayer2484 It's a dictionary with thumb cutouts on the pages so that you can quickly get to a particular letter.
Psychiatry is the greatest hustle
That Calvin is such a little brat, he makes Dennis The Menace look like an angel.
Did Dennis ever like that on purpose?
Calvin has a little mischief, and a vivid imagination which helps having to put up with a bully and a father who messes with his mind.

Only because watterson is unaware.
I hope you give him 10% of your profits anyway

This strip seems to parody the Lucy the Psychiatrist advice stand from Peanuts.
And if ANY strip were screaming out to be parodied, it was _Peanuts._
oh to be 6 again with a stuffed tiger
Wait, are you saying that tiger isn't real? Noooooooo!
I want to comment on the "writer's block" episode,
but I can't think of anything.
I never realized what a scam artist and ponzi scheme director Calvin was! (And he’s only six years old!)

I smell a dissertation in the works ...
Thanks, Joseph.
It's a parody, all right, especially the panel about the Grifting Oligarchic Patricians' economic definition of supply and demand.
Annoying, repetitious music ruins the video
I agree with the second part. I will cut it down from now on.
I like the music. Keep it in. Nice presentation.
