I was there. They spent a while shooting a video by playing the same track several times early in the evening, which we watched. I talked to the singer in the break for a while, before this set. I saw them a good few other times too, mainly in Moscow. And also visited this club a few times (Kradenoe Solntse, for example). The good old days of a free Russia, with vibrant culture and open conversation on TV.
I'm sorry to inform you that Sergey - the leader of the M.K.(vocalist/guitarist) died about a month ago. P.S. I totally forgot about Kradennoe Solntse. Thanks, I'll go look for an old tape. I haven't listened to them for a long time, a very, very long time.
@@Sonmz Sorry to hear that news. Bad. I saw that band quite a lot in those days, but should have seen them more. Must be more than a decade since last time. I guess without Sergey they'll maybe no longer exist, and certainly can't really be the exact same band. Again I grieve for that brief window of freedom and creativity in Russia. May it return soon. A shame that Sergey won't get to see it, like Aleksei too, and too many others forced to live in the mrak created by bores in bad suits.
