Yeah I’m not so sure how much I believe that k24 is managing 600hp on stock internals… everything I’ve researched for my build is saying anything over 450 to 500hp you need to build the motor. The trans I heard only holds on till 350 400ish
@@merciless_c49 well I would stop reading forms from 10-15 years ago and listening to people that are actually doing it research is good yes but there is no proof i promise you I’ve tuned countless k24 and k20s that hold over 600 stock motor for a couple years problems
@@merciless_c49 most people who say they can’t hold over 450 tune then there self and are not familiar with the Honda platform at all the stock transmission can hold up to 600 but doesn’t mean they will last forever depends on the driver we have a couple videos of a stock trans stock engine doing low 10s on 14 psi of boost so around 500+ hp and they hold up
@@merciless_c49 stop listening to people and do stuff you can look on UA-cam there will be countless videos and dyno pulls of k24s and k20s making over 600 there is a lot of stock k24s in the 9 sec range so over 600hp the record is 9.3 if I’m not mistaken JDM Express has the record and that’s on a completely stock engine
@@BFABTUNED I’m literally in the middle of the build conversing with one of the more reputable Honda builders in the country. Not just reading old forum. Yes there might be a small handful who get lucky and make that power for a short period of time. But majority of the people who tried it ended up broken shortly after. The other people who claim it’s stock are most likely lying… cause street racers are so honest about their set up….
Yes really depends the shell 8th and 9th gens seem to eat the 2nd and 3rd pretty quick but older swapped Hondas we have good luck with 600 on stock retransmissions 5 or 6 speed I wouldn’t say it can handle it for ever but it can for a some fun
@@BFABTUNED yeah I have a stock 5 speed crv trans on my awd setup. Wave trac lsd and we open the trans and everything is mint checked the clearances and all everything checks out so hoping she last for the season and some before I even think of doing trans work
Hes spinning so you have to wait until the car speed is the same as tire speed so you dont bog in the next gear and theres a chance of blowing the trans if you shift when spinning a shit ton as its front drive

ive driven turbo fwd cars as well as rwd cars and pickup trucks, you have to shift them very differently.
It ain't that easy ,when that limiter hit so quick ,you have vtec and boost at the same time
