To anwser any questions about this game. The PSP version is the same design wise as the DS and 3DS version. It is also considered the best version out the three as it hosts a lot more polish and bug fixes. The console versions, however, follow more fuller designs to suit the home console market so therefore hosts a lot more levels, characters and cutscenes.
@xSam016x Thank you Sam. This game run on the same engine as LEGO Indy 2, which had multiplayer on the PSP, so the Harry Potter titles would include it as well. This shows how much devs can get lazy just for the sake of saving time. The Star Wars titles were pure bliss played in co-op mode.
@nickoberon yeah i agree it was better than the first one but i never knew LEGO changed their engine and handhelds can't handle it wow thanks for the info
@Miza0212 The PS3, Wii, Xbox 360 and PC versions are the same (with more levels, only a few though). The 3DS and PSP versions of this game are exactly the same and the normal DS version is a tiny bit different.
@Shojoloverforever when the target turns red release the button to cast. do this for both and then you'll be prompted to use wingardium leviosa to movem as stepping stones to cross just worked it out after 4 hours! hope it helps!
@Shojoloverforever hang on a min are you stuck in that little stone semi circle you start the level in? if so i know how to get you across the river and you don't need spectrespcecs! stand at the edge of the river bank, and using reducto spell press and hold the square button til you get an orange circle target. still holding down square aim the target with toggle or directional buttons at the white and blue things across the river. you will notice a corresponding blue target appear on them,
I can't seem to find any tutorials or walkthroughs for this game...in Order of the Phoniex level 2, Trip To Hogsmeade I can NOT find the specterspecs. I would really appreciate help, I'm so frustrated!
Wow, I've decided getting either the PS3 or 3DS version of the new one since the PSP version of 1-4 disappointed me so much... but they really improved it. (Still not getting this version though XD)
developers are just not putting effort into this games the psp version is exactly like the ds version.plus if you compare the hud and load screens from lego potc psp theres not much a differrence.i dont want psp to die....:(

why does the psp version always suck just look at indiana jones, batman, and star wars on psp those looked and played so much better than lego games on psp recently
In the pc version you could fly and shit after the beginning,,, lego games for PSP are rubbish, though i'm not blaming it for that. the playstation portable was released 12 years ago.
I know, this is 1 year old comment, BUT psp has 3 really good lego games like Indiana Jones Original Adventures, Lego Batman and lego starwars, they were just like in consoles.

I love how the vita port shouldve been like the console version but it was a port of psp/ds/3ds version
