I would say there's not much you can prep for the academic year besides knowing the foundations of maths and physics are really important! besides that, familiarise yourself with the university campus, lifestyle, try to build a community of friends because that will become your support structure. If you want to prep for the work, start mentally preparing to juggle alot of tasks and studying quite quickly. Don't fall behind with work and studying because cramming in uni doesn't turn out well.
I think the key is not focusing on the total or how much there is to learn, start small with just the one section you're doing at school for e.g. Math Algebra and try to master that first and when you have move onto the next topic. Always start mastering the smaller tasks first without looking at the whole subject which is scary
