A well educated, well spoken, smart and honourable man and as you can see how he knows history,tradition and culture of our nation as he governed it. Rt mara was an unelected prime minister during this time. he lost the general election in 1987 and Sitiveni Rabuka overthrow the elected government lead by Dr Bavadra and put Rt Mara back to prime minister. If Rt Mara was that well educated he should have turn it down but the greed for power has done so much damage to Fiji. We fjians are now complaining about the 2006 coup by Frank Bainimarama but we seems to forget about 1987.
