It’s really more than just her magnificent voice. How many vocalists can you name who make you “feel” their vocals in your soul, or just reach in and grab your heart, and bring you to tears every time? That’s Angelina. How many vocalists can you name who aren’t just singing to the music, but rather their voice IS the music? That’s Angelina, with her wonderful melisma, vocal fry, vibrato, and jazz stylings. That’s why Angelina is at her best when accompanied by only one or two acoustic instruments. Her humility shines also. A small curtsy and a smile at the end of an epic performance like this tells you how humble she is, as does her smile, wave and “bye” at the end of many private sessions. She gets your heart strings braids them into reigns and guides you on an emotional tour. You literally feel every note! It does not matter what song she sings you end up entranced and transported to another plain of existence.... Hers.
Everything she does when singing just comes across as exactly right for that word, for that moment. Her ability to understand what tool from her endless toolbox to use at every moment is unmatched by any singer I've ever heard.
Another great reaction! No autotune, no frills, no pyrotechnics, nothing at all but her voice. I am always in awe of her vocal ability and her persona more so. A lot of reactors I have seen, and I've seen hundreds, still don't believe she is THAT good and go so far as to say that in certain videos her voice is inhanced. The reality is that their brains don't comprehend what's happening and in immediately attribute it to some form of "enhancement" since that is what is normally done currently with singers who CANNOTSING, and rely on such things to sound better. The industry is saturated with them and that's what is popular. It is logical that they would think that is what our Barefoot Princess does...but we know better. SHE IS THAT GOOD! Live performances like this one, only seal and confirm that fact. I've listened to some of the greatest vocalist in the world, past and present, and there are a handfull that have captured my heart and imagination like Angelina! You are so right about young people. I was a Dad of four teens, and I taught high school kids for almost 30 years. They want (and need!) someone to listen to them! I learned long ago to never take a child or young person for granted. They may just surprise and astound you with what they know and feel, and are yearning to get it out to a compassionate and listening ear.
Besides her hypnotic emotional vocal platinum and liquid golden voice, one of her treats is to watch someone else be totally enchanted with her performances as well!! No one I have ever heard can command and hold that position on stage or just sitting at home on her own couch singing her heart out for us!!
This is one of her performances she gives me the feeling she goes into a trance by the music and in doing so she draws the listener into her world and makes them forget everything else! It's just her and you! She even could do this song without a band! To perform this song at age 13 better than the one who wrote it (Adele, from her heart), without having that same power voice is just incredible! I still love Adele, but this moves me just more, somehow!

I have to admit to being musicly biased. I tend to like music from 40' to the 70's singers with soul that can get ya like Patsy or (early) Elvis, Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Queen Elton John etc. Angelina spans decades and genres & styles with graceful ease.
