The Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S (collectively, the Xbox Series X/S) are home video game consoles developed by Microsoft. They were both released on November 10, 2020, as the fourth generation of the Xbox console family, succeeding the Xbox One family. Along with Sony's PlayStation 5, also released in November 2020, the Xbox Series X and Series S are part of the ninth generation of video game consoles.
Ayyy the meme that is no longer a dream has arrived! Quality is not too bad but there is a lot more plastic involved than I had imagined originally. Still a very cool collectible to join all of my other Xbox stuff. Target is expecting a full restock for in-store come December so don't pay a scalper for one of these.

Heads up: after having the Series X fridge plugged in for 8 hours the fan never shuts off and will always emit noise. If you like having white noise this will be a pleasant experience but if you like complete silence you won’t like it
Anyone who can tolerate pure silence is dead in their soul. Room sound is absolute, what the hell are you running from to think you want actual silence
It's also good to note that there are 2 settings - MAX & ECO. The MAX setting emits a loud fan noise & the ECO is as loud as a quiet fan. I have no issues with the ECO setting - it's actually pretty amazing.

For people wondering. Its not just a fan as many are saying. Its a peltier cooler. a Peltier cooler is a pad that get's cold and the fan blows the cold air from the pad onto the drinks. Peltier coolers last longer than fridges as no moving parts to break down. The makers made a video saying how cool it can get and that the top can get ice on it from time to time.
But the downside is it only cools like 20 degrees (F°) lower than the temperature it's sitting in. I'd say it's a far better deal to get a $100 mini fridge becuase it does a far better job, plus it usually has a freezer.

The Series X fits perfectly inside of the mini fridge without the shelves in it. One cool little design feature they slipped in as, albeit a useless one.

There is a new model of the mini fridge. It has max, off and eco mode. Eco mode reduces the fan noise and keeps fridge cool. Mine gets to 35 degrees Fahrenheit with eco mode.
Where do you buy that since I’m going right now to buy the fridge to see how good is it
This is the model i have only issue i have is that it freezes so it needs to be thawed every few weeks

I bought the "small edition" on sale from Walmart for $40 thinking it was this one and apparently they added green lighting to the inside. Probably because it's a newer version and they took fan feedback. The thing is basically a physical manifestation of memes the fans made of the console comparing it to a fridge so it makes sense their ears were extra open to stuff like this.

No light inside. Because inside made is cheap, thin, transparent, chinsee plastic hahahahaha.
Man, that loud fan is a real dealbreaker. Though, I guess it does give the genuine console experience as mine always sounds like a jet taking off.

I took out the trays inside and now it fits my bong perfectly and it keeps it nice and cold 🥶😂
you can always buy a cheap LED motion light off amazon and put it inside so everytime you open the door light comes on and there super cheap!

i keep seeing people say they need to thaw it out because it gets so cold but my mini fridge doesnt get cold at all and its more of just a storage area for my drinks, does anybody know how to fix this?

Microsoft or some other company probably decided to replicate the series X into what people have been comparing it to when it was Shown to the public. Unfortunately there is no design to replicate from the PS5 because it’s not that fun replicating a router with paper on the sides.

You said that the fan will turn off, did it ever get to temp and then shut off itself? It's thermoelectric so it doesn't need coolant but downside is it will only cool ~36 degrees F below ambient.

I got this from ebay open box but the fridge PSU for the 120V input was dead I had to get a PSU for the 12v Input, I am using the usb port on the fridge to charge my ipad since it has the same Amps as the Adapter it comes with

It's a fan that runs across a heatsink the actual interior of this kind of "fridge" is basically the same as an igloo lunch pail or cooler. As the fan runs across the heatsink it creates a cooling effect and then is trapped by the insolated portion where the drinks sit. That's why the fan must constantly run.
