Gary should hold his head high! Good manager, he gave us a good game. It’s only the first game of the season so despite the several shaky moments Arsenal made, the boys are cooking steadily. Since the 21/22 season our trajectory has been ascending. I mean!! We came from being underdogs in so many seasons after Wenger to now being the topic of conversation. Well done super Mikel 💪🏽 COYG!!!! 🔴
Humble press conference, Wolve looks really sharp there, feel like Arsenal could concede a goal during that game. If this Wolve team stay focus and play like they are today, they could be in the top 7, they have quite a good young players there.
Arsenal fan, Wolves are a strong team, and Gary is a top manager. I was nervous for a lot of that game, Wolves were great at winning the ball back, often in dangerous areas, and their attack looks potent, they just need to be more clinical in front of goal. As Gary said, our wingers were given too much time on the edge of the box a few times, and that cost them. Hopefully they do some good business this window and I think they could have a good season.
@@commentator88 see i'd agree with you, if chelsea didnt sign a manager from the championship, because how would his managerial experience prepare for being able to handle those expectations? Also lets be real, if ajax was a prem team they'd be mid table.
@@kb101ist I dont understand the Ajax reference.. but we put too much emphasis on managers. The players are the ones who play. Managers are successful because of the quality and attitude of the players, not tactics.
They were (again) very good. They just need to be more clinical in front of goal and they will be absolutely fine in this season. And well, that Mosquera is very pesky but can defend, he looks like a good addition. I have nothing but respect for O'Neil and his team as an Arsenal fan
Also Arsenal fan - Gary is right, they played way better than I expected and that Raya's save was a crucial moment Good luck to Wolves: you have a great manager and a good team Thanks for a great game
I was very impressed. Our team gave their all. This has been a learning experience for them all im sure things will get better . Arsenal are a top team so no disgrace . This is their first game. Onwards and upwards
Definitely good game. Cheers to you and your players, Gary. Hard to come to the Emirates stadium- esp. when we're starting a title run. Good fight from your boys. First defender yet to really handle Havertz a good degree. (i know Gary can't hear me, fyi!)
Wouldn't say they pinned us back but they gave a great account of themselves, attacked and fought, asked great questions of our GK forcing some incredible saves. Wolves looking bright! Hands round someone's throat is always a red though. Ref fumbled towards the end.
Some managers would've knocked Arsenal for having 47% of possession @ the Emirates which obviously in terms puts them right in the game. O'Neil kept it real, fair play to him and his side. Hopefully his Wolves can go to the Etihad, Anfield etc etc and give teams the same amount of problems they did this afternoon
good game almost ruined by one incident that would have been a red card in virtually any other game. its hard to not feel theres a narrative/consensus against us when our players are rarely protected ..even when its as obvious as this 😢 happy for the win though! on to the next 🔴🙌🏾
I totally agree and tbh it should of been 2 red cards as Won Nothing Sakas blatant dive (again) on 30 mins and Donkey Havertz rolling on the floor for 5 mins after a defender lightly touched the 330k pw poosihole were both straight red cards and 5 match bans in virtually any other game
I was at the match. Wolves gave us a good game. Tough team who applied relentless pressure. Not a walk in the park at all. Without Saka it might have been a different score. He made the difference.
Arteta is becoming Jose Mourinho . Me and Edu wants the Arsenal of 2022/23. Even if we lost the title, we played beautiful football. Our ball possession is declining from year to year. Today our ball possession is 55.6%.
Actual weirdo behavior he deserved a red after that choke that was probably the craziest thing i've seen as far as an altercation in my years of watching live footy. He got mad and choked him like he wanted to kill him for a split second until he realized what he was doing. Guy's a weirdo.
Arsenal could have score more, but also Wolves put quite a battle and could have get a point at Emirates. Thanks to David Raya, two amazing saves! COYG
I truly believe that Simon may have travelled the world but Simon has absolutely no fcuking idea where Islington is without Googling it, has been hitting the pipe too hard if he thinks this is Arsenal’s season and doesn't have the bollocks to bet me $20k that says i'm wrong.... Actually, Partey needs to be substituted early in 2nd half. He lacks energy to focus throughout the game. We'll never get another no.6 as good as him in the market. He'll improve as we go on.
First game of the season man relax, last season we scored 1 against Palace and defended with 10 men. We are better than last season, but first games are always shaky, and who can fill in for Partey against Villa? None
I think the media is all over Arsenal and hyping them up for this year's title. Remember, all this kind of hype have turned negatively in the past. Arteta is paid too high for just one trophy in 5 years. Top managers who were paid similarly have delivered in 3-5 years. Good luck Arsenal fans. Keep faith.
If Wolves play like they did today, they can certainly end in the top half of the table come the end of the season. P.s. please take points off ManCity from an Arsenal fan
Wolves will beat some of the big teams this season. O'Neil looks like one of the best managers in the league and could go on to manage a elite club one day. The football wWolves play is impressive, they are the new Brighton.

This arrogance from arsenal and its fan base will be their downfall… infact this season will be more painful than the last for them… day one and the second best team have invited all the pressure on themselves 😊
Gary, you dont have to overly respect Arsenal. You are paid to do a job with Wolves and not to praise Arsenal. Kudos, you played really well, just focus on that and not to praise Arsenal too much. They spent over 500M to get to where they are and this is basic where they should perform. Nothing to praise there when you only spent fraction of their budget. Keep going.
Arsenal fans can smell a title but they can't feel a title! Man City will always win the Premier League and unless Pep Guardiola leaves Man City or Man City are found guilty of the 115 Charges and get relegated then no one can stop them
