You continue to offer over the top news on these yachts. I can’t imagine owning one of these-thank you for putting dreams in our heads!
Just get into government and take millions in bribes and dream will be achieved !
This is sounding like the Timeshare Pitch that I want to attend.
I think this is just a cruse ship. In my, non-professional opinion, a super yacht should be for a single person/family. When it is joint owned, like this one, it is just a big cruse ship.
I've seen many giant superyachts before and was always amazed by how much bigger they're growing, but after seeing this first one, I was blown away. Yachts really are starting to become the new breed of ocean liner it looks like.
They are the ultimate hush hush offices for illegal corporate decision making.
In my opinion of course. 🕵️
relax broke kid
They clearly haven't seen the 1 km long trimaran I'm building in my shed. Completion date some time next century.
Can I rent a room? If I’m still around.
Only 1 km? It's good to see that you haven't let success go to your head.
Wouldn't want to swab that deck !!
😂
😂😂😂💯
That's an impressive shed too!!
I live in Hamburg. Guess i´m gonna make a trip to the harbor tomorrow and have a look at these beauties.
Maybe i try to film, but my phone doesn´t make great videos. We´ll see.
I am speechless, but feel compelled to comment. 🤓
Good show, E. (May I even dare call you E?) Take care.
Short... but sweet. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Cheers!
Content like no others. Fantastic news sir, thank you for keeping us updated.
🙏🏻
Dream. Yes we can.
Dreams do come true.
Believe.🌿💙🦋💙🌿
Love love
Another outstanding report! Thanks…👍
Good job !keep us in the loop with interior details .
Super cool, thanks for posting!
The new Super, Mega, Giga yacht will be great to see. Cool video thanks 😊
Congrats on hitting 120k. Well deserved :)
😍😍😍😍 COOL
DILBAR, LUNA, Al LUSAIL, NORD, SOLANGE and an additional Yacht i can not name are curently here in Hamburg, Germany at Blom+Voss/Lürssen warft. A nice collection ... :-)
The way you are presenting this and all your other videos, one can really see your passion for this industry. That's why it's so entertaining to watch. As for that SuperYacht residence ship, I wonder how much one unit will cost :D and the annual fee. I guess owning a SuperYacht is for billionaires, while sharing one is for 100mln+ $ high net worth individuals.
Blohm & Vos still make warships….. frigates and patrol boats. Also, during WW2 they (or a subsidiary) made aircraft for the Luftwaffe….. like the ginormous BV222 flying boat, six engines 37m long by 46m wide….. with a max weight of 46 metric tons 😳
Another great video
Cheers for the heart ❤ 'dave' was howling as someone else done what I done and just give you the generic dave name.
Wow. Thanks for that news. What am amazing vessel!!!
Probably a good choice of calling it a private residence, as you'll end up having to live a long time on it while the captain tries to find a parking spot :)
😂
That's a lot of money spent just to get out of mowing your yard. 👀
This would be incredible to see
Excellent Video 😀
I love your videos
Fantastic project
Very Beautiful yachts 👍👌👍😎⚓️
Outstanding.
⚓💙⚓
All right already! How is this not a cruise ship? 😮
Nice 👍
Hello from Canada great videos thanks
The most outstanding vessel built by Blohm + Voss was ECO in 1991 with ground breaking rounded windows and 18,500 hp gas turbine .
*Question:* Is it a super yacht?
*eSysman:* It's registered as a passenger vessel, not a yacht. 1:47
*Also eSysman:* Anything that carries more than 36 guests, is classed as a passenger vessel. Below 36 it can come under the passenger yacht code, _which does not apply to this vessel._ 2:03
*Comment section:* OMG, Don't call it a yacht! It's not a yacht!
Apparently, several people missed the air quotes and explanations.
So it's basically a private cruise ship?
@@LordGdawg It seems like it if it's privately owned condos.
@@LordGdawg Essentially, yes. There's probably a legal distinction and code requirement difference between "cruise ship" and "passenger vessel," especially a private one, but for all of us in layman's terms, yes.
From what I can tell the different classifications are more to do with the safety of the vessel. What that means in detail I don't know as I've not seen that explained. But all the videos from the likes of eSysman and Yachts for Sale suggest the layout of the ship and provision of safety and rescue equipment on board is stricter the higher the class goes.
That’s me caught up bro. Thanks as always for your work. I’m Off to the tech channel now.
... wow, what gorgeous interiors; although I don't care for the shade of 'butternut brown' in the Lounge ... but, gorgeous blues & greens; white's & marvelous wood ... teak? ... acacia wood maybe? with the Middle Eastern influence? ...well, quite a Dream Boat ... Sail On ...
No worries Penelope, I’ll call the builder and ask if they could repaint the butternut brown into, errr, shall we say, a gorgeous blue with hints of green? You’re welcome Ma’am 👍
I, personally, don't see this as a yacht. It's a mini-cruise ship.
Согласен!!!
Hi E Sysman, Your work is commendable. Kindly compare the merits of X bow on M/Y Olivia O and this bow design by Damen yachts on their seaexplorer range. Thanks
Love your channel
we still enjoyed our 35ft narrow boat ☺
Nice!
Русские олигархи хорошо живут)))😎😎😎 Усманов)) Мельниченко)) Абрамович)) яхты у них просто 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Your 🎉voice is very nice to hear like music. Thank
Wow she’s beautiful
Imagine what an attractive target this vessel will be. All those rich people in one isolated area. I can see what a great action-thriller movie that would make. Or a real-life ...
Sounds like elite family ship
Good stuff
All respects too the new yachts but "DILBAR" will always be "KING" in my book
Wedding cake that is so big and trying to eat it makes you puke, at least thats what i think
Dilbar is still the largest yacht.
This is more of a condominium on the water.
Mine too she’s is the queen
I think only think dilbar needs is redone running new engines and pods maybe little more speed you know
Imagine paying all that money for a ship and then calling it. . . "Dilbar."
Egad.
All we need now is Agatha Christie.
Still cheaper apartments than in Monaco, probably...
"itinerary of carefully selected destinations" = you'll become very familiar with the few ports that have the infrastructure to supply & support a vessel of this size while still being appealing, and if you were to invest your money in homes in each of those places where you'd own land instead of a depreciating machine, you'd probably end up far ahead.
You're talking about people who can afford to live aboard until it gets boring, then sell.
The real estate market also has money laundering schemes where people buy and sell apartments so that dirty money becomes the profit of a legal sale, this may be used that way depending on how much this industry has to look into where the original investment comes from.
Or you just buy yourself a smaller yacht (30 to 40 meters) and you can still visit all the small islands, ports and other beautiful destinations that a 222 meter yacht cannot.
The word 'instead' does not apply to billionnaires, they already have homes wherever they want. 'Ending up far ahead' is also not their goal. They ALREADY ended up far ahead. Funny how everyone applies logic of working class to people who have totally different perspective.
This is a common comment with large vessels. But it's not an issue as the vessels just sit out at anchor and ferry in the guests by tender. When an owner is onboard his yacht it's very rare the yacht docks.
And yet inverted/ reverse bows are the future for yachting lol!
Wow, a small cruise ship.
What about the life boats? Do they have to ready to launch not hidden?
That’ll look great moored up in the freight terminal
Yachts generally sit at anchor and the guests are ferried in on tenders.
OK, by what you say, this is not a yacht (let alone a super yacht). It is a passenger vessel...a cruise ship...a long-term occupancy cruise ship, but a cruise ship none-the-less.
So, the largest super yacht (by volume) is still Dilbar and the longest is Azzam.
Absolutely correct.
For those of us Americans (is that even a correct sentence) that's 728.4 feet!!! Looks like Powerball or Megamillions will need to get a lot higher (for non-Americans those are our 2 national lotteries) for me to be able to afford this!
These yacht for billionaires? and even if you win the mega or power ball, $600 million you only getting half the money 🤔 so invest the money in Some apartment and buy yourself a 60 ft yacht and enjoy yourself 😂😂
our measurement system is called "english standard" (miles, yards feet inches) vs the metric system. The Brits and the Yanks hang on to the only vestiges of 19th century Imperialism that are important!
@@waynemcfarlane1233 Half of $600,000,000 is still a hell of more money than I have now!
Dilbar is stunning .
yeahhh but I still don't like the color. It's that color that the old computer monitors turned after a while.
These things look like cruise ships. It must be nice. I guess these guys just get together to see who has the biggest.
Sounds more like a cruise liner rather than super yacht. A very exclusive cruise liner, and one we perhaps need a new term for. Super Cruiser?
Houseyacht 🤪
ESysman hit me up on the DM"s maybe we can split the fee on one of those 36 apartments 🤔 split it up on calander like a condo time share on Florida Beach ⛱
Lol 😆
That's a ship!
Nice informative video cool how stuff ties together. The Mighty Hood sank by Bismarck made by Blohm+Voss then Lürssen made yacht Octopuss used to retrieve the Hoods bell. Now Lürssen own Bloom and Voss.
It's Blohm & Voss not Bloom & Voss you wisenheimer
@@KS-js1mk Thanks fixed it you feel better now? I mean correcting a 4 month old post tells me all I need to know.
And this superyacht is still smaller than Knock Nevis - the largest ship (ULCC supertanker) ever built. Knock Nevis was 458 meters long. Will we ever see 458 meter long superyacht? Maybe...
What do you think of the electric Porsche
Fun to watch these,. Amazing craft. However I personally just can’t see a justification for individual wealth like that.
Nord is my favorite MY, They can’t keep up wit how fast they get around!
Can't believe Dilbar is still in dry dock - what on earth is this tech refit ?
the basic idea of having a boat of your own is the freedom to choose where you wanna go and when you will go there. Something that obviously will not apply to this boat.
If it has a predetermined route then it is just a more luxurious and with less passengers cruise ship.
The route will be determined by the owners of the apartments.
It would make sense if you have a ~70 foot yacht without crew for yourself and then own a unit aboard for a crewed experience
The once fine & very distinctive line between Yacht & Ocean Liner is fast becoming, for want of a better word "Blurred" & almost indistinguishable. By building a vessel of this stature it is rather obvious that the desire & demand for such opulence & bespoke designed ships will become something of a status symbol for both the builder & owner in the highend luxury super yacht community. Yet we see but another benchmark in the lifestyles of the ultra wealthy invariably being pushed above & over yet another line. Until someone dreams up the next best must have toy to play with.❤😊
It's a SuperYacht in the sense that a fancy party bus conversion is a giant Rolls Royce limousine. 🙂
You omitted the hyphen in Rolls-Royce!!! 🙂
@@steelman86 Cheers.
This is a damn ship.
Hey eSysman! Been watching your videos for years. Great content. First let me say that I know nothing about video production and I'm totally impressed by everyone who does. I was wondering about this latest video that is closed captioned. I'm assuming that it isn't generated by your voice as most of them are on TV. There were some discrepancies in the captions versus what you were saying in the video. For instance, 169 and 196 meters @ 2:33. Also, there are some mistakes in grammar including the lack of capitalization in many instances. So, if you're paying someone to add the CC to your vids, get a refund. If you're transcribing your dialogue for the CC, please don't take offense to my critique. I'm only trying to help your channel by pointing this out. I know you're terribly busy traveling and making vids while holding down a "regular" job (I'm assuming that you're an electronics system engineer on a MY). Keep up the great work. Hope this helps.
Motorship A still the coolest thing there out there
Will there be a support boat?
Yacht bold is now for sale through burgess
I think we need a new category for Dilbar called Mega-Yacht.
That’s not official, that’s just used by media. Officially anything over 24m is classed as a ‘Large Motor Yacht’ and this is how we define superyachts. Superyacht is not an official term used in any class organisations.
@@eSysmanSuperYachts I was being a bit flippant with my comment. But there is an huge difference between your average 24 meter at about 70 gross tons and Dilbar at 16,000. You can fit over 230 Sunseeker 80's in Dilbar. LOL
Am cool 😊
So big yet it only holds like a dozen people lol
😎👌
HIJACKED
You could have had John Cleese (as Basil Fawlty) regale us with the Bismark- Blohm and Voss history.
Like "The World", they'll be selling space, but at a premium most of us cannot imagine, say $20,000,000 for space, plus fit out, plus running costs, plus share of operational costs, plus food, plus wine say another $2,000,000 per annum.
This world isn't for the regular Joe. That's why we watch others live the life we will never know. The trick is to be entertained by it and not jealous of it.
There is also Utopia. Utopia is a planned luxury residential ocean liner project. A formal marketing launch of the ship, reportedly costing US$1.1 billion, is expected in 2021. The original binding letter of intent to build Utopia was amended in 2017.
I’ve got a 4m rib with a 15hp honda
I'll take one.
I want this.
How many super yachts like this are they in all ? I would be very curious to know
How does a yacht with permanent residents perform maintenance like painting the hull and dry dock stuff?
I'm sure they put them up in a Motel 6 while the hammering is going on. 🤣🤣🤣
I guess I should get my checkbook out for a new residence then! 😁🤦♂🍻 I wonder how much the monthly home owners association costs will be? 🤣
So...the almost finished explorer yacht Rev is going to be the biggest and Somnio the biggest cruise/passenger ship "yachtalike"?
I'm not even sure if REV Ocean is going to be classed as a yacht. It's got considerable volume dedicated to scientific facilities and capabilities, along with housing for the people who would put them to use. It's a great looking boat, to be sure, but at this point it seems more like a research vessel that has a lot of luxurious touches and probably a capacious owner's apartment.
REV Ocean
класс)
first thing that comes to mind on the cost of cabins is KA-CHING i wonder if the cabins will be based on a monthly rate ??
You'll have to pay a monthly maintenance fee as well as buy the unit. Not sure how tax works though. It'll definitely be registered in a tax haven and I suppose the unit owners won't be liable for tax. And that's when the whole thing suddenly starts to make complete sense lol
To many air quotes mate! 😉
That's 728 ft long. 222 Meters conversion. $500 million dollars. Not that bad considering other yachts cost $300 million.
Come on man…. This is a business versus art
I can’t see 500 mil being anywhere near the cost. Wasn’t Eclipse 800 million? I reckon you’re looking about 1.5 billion for that.
These aren’t yachts they are cruise ships.
