Scenario wars are where it’s at, you can play at your own pace, play objectives or just run and get into insane gunfights…. HELLS SURVIVORS 2022 MONSTER GAME!!!!!!
My brothers and I rocked the tippman x7 phenom with the hammerhead full barrel kit with a remote air system for woods ball did the ww2 campaign that Bill Balie put together. We was the original team ram rod- moneyshot, rabbit, Ramathorn, and I was Farva. Miss playing so we switched to speedball to change it up.
I’ve been playing for 30 years, tippmanns are nice and reliable guns, they will always work. But they are heavy, clunky, hard to work on. If you want to play in big games or scenario games you can get one of the “speedball” guns, just get it in black if you want blend in.
Maybe for the 98s, but my Tippmann Cronus is really well balanced for the most part, and Tippmann TMCs are even lighter. I'd also MUCH rather have a gun that is super easy to modify, and maintain, but heavier, rather than an electronic marker which I see have problems ALL the time.
@@mikevidauri1773 I completely disagree with this. I cannot even describe to you HOW many speedball guns I've seen fail or have their electronics become compromised at some point and they have to spend an eternity fixing it.
To be fair with thr weight comparison, you should have put a tank on the mini, because that would be part of the gun when carrying it, where as with the tippman you would most likely have a line running to it not adding any real extra weight.
Both are nice. At first you start with beginner gun a Tippmann is a great choice and keep the Gun for any reason ( invite a friend, Replacement Gun) You play some Games and go in a Direction or both 🤷 Paintball is Dangerous..... for your Money 😉
Very dangerous for our money hahahaha I started playing 3 months ago. I got myself a Tippmann Stormer Elite (cause I want to play magfed most of time). Loved my Stormer, but once you start, damm you want to upgrade the marker hahaha I'm already looking for a new barrel and inserts hahaha
Let's be blunt: The "speedball" guns are simply better guns. But if it's more important for you to roleplay and have a "milsim" looking gun, that's okay too. If you want best bang for buck for casual play, get an EMEK.
@@mikevidauri1773 No he isn't. As someone who's been playing for almost 8 years, I've only seen a handful of good mechanical markers break down where I've seen dozens of speedball markers permanently break.
Speedball. It allows you to play all game formats (but strict magfed); is lighter, and will probably be more fun. Worried about electronics...get an Emek or similar lighter weight mech instead. The only issue is then needing an HPA tank and decent loader, but those can be relatively inexpensive. Want something tried and true, get an A5. Can always add an Egrip, stocks, accessories etc.
I'm totally the opposite. Speedball from my years of experience is SO formulaic and dare I say almost boring. It's just shoot, move up, kill, win, in an enclosed area. Not a whole lot of skills you need to master there compared to woodsball where there's so many elements you need to learn.
I'm sorry, but woodsball ALL the way. Speedball is EXTREMELY formulaic and predictable whereas woodsball, ANYTHING can happen, and that's where most of the glorious moments occur. I'm speaking from years of playing this sport and playing both sides of the spectrum.
im old school. I like i can do all my maintenance change anything i would like. Since i play with friends that don't usually play often and rent guns. I don't like to be flashy and keep game play a bit on the even field. With its durability and being able to maintenance yourself. Its a lifetime gun. I will never get rid of mind. I am just thinking of maybe having one woodsball gun and one speedball gun.
I’ll stick with my E2 powered 05’ Orracle with my trusty 91 4500 ACI Bulldog and 6+5 Mants pack. I can do both just fine. I do have a ego11 ad old “vomit comet” Tippy 98c that I looove to shoot as well. Bottom line, something shiny with a few more electronic options, or one bad ass looking mil sim marker. Shoot what fits and is comfy…
To address the...uh...full auto issue...for the TMC you can install a totally mechanical response trigger giving you full auto ,3 round burst or semi.As far as weight...really? Pffff I run a TMC Elite as my back up to my T15 and if you can't deal with the weight of a TMC....just give up now or do some bicep curls, compared to my fully accessorized T15 the TMC feels like a feather.Btw the TMC is very light.Oh and there is a special place in the darkest part of the universe for those who use a hopper on a magfed gun....maharaja ! I digress...just my opinion and you know what they say about those......don't be a hopperhead....
Honestly the only time I could see magfed being at a disadvantage is when playing in a hyperball or speedball field something they didn’t even mention here is there isn’t any speedball markers capable of firing FS the range and accuracy alone that most mag feds bring levels the playing field in the right environment
I run with my Gtek 160r and Mini GS in senario games with a freak barrel kit and still get amazing kills while everyone is complaining about the weight of their woodsball guns and other equipment their running with it cause they're carrying nothing but weight so I don't see no difference besides looks between the 2 except of course the speedball markers are gonna shoot alittle faster cause their electric

Back in the 90's all we played was woodsball, always wanted to try speedball but never owned a semi-auto marker and most of the people I played with had forests for backyards. I had 2 markers... a pump action conversion autococker and a phantom both with 14" dye barrels, yes I spent $650 for a brand new autococker to convert it to pump action. I had more fun with the pump action guns which were pretty accurate, it suited my play style...I. would've probably sucked playing speedball anyway. Awesome vid👍🏽
I've also held on recently and OMFG is it nice. I was considering getting one, but in the end I bought a T15, but that's MOSTLY because I already own a heavily modified Tippmann Cronus.
emek / etha 3m and sheer fucking fingaa power for both. be a man, use a mech gun and stop relaying on tech to make you shoot fast i can do 15bps on my emek with upgrades and you cant cap my mech gun on the field.

A good speedball marker can do both woodsball , Rec and speed. Etha 2 all the way for versatility

With the weight of the guns though, the Woods ball gun would be lighter with the remote line, compared to the speed ball gun with a tank as the stock
What!? Since when? An axe with a CF tank and a spire ir is light than a TMC without any tank or hopper
I mean if you compare a M17 to the mini gs its only a $75 difference.
I do both
Minute I opened the box.I fell in love with my tippmann tmc Has zach saying feel as my ar15
I didn't know the Mini GS jumped in price
We usually play in the woods, but it's much faster paced like speedball. 100x75 yard field with some man made bunkers.
Can you do a hdr50 revolver pistol review please 🙏

Eguns are bad for paintball. Too much firepower. Seriously, how many times do you have to miss me per second?
They aren't bad for paintball whatsoever, but I'm a woodsball fan through and through
