most good musicians, especially vocalists, do funny things with their arms and hands when they perform, sometimes it helps you to reach that high note or low note, or it just helps you keep time or remember that decrescendo you always seem to botch. it's just part of the deal, you become unaware of yourself when you are in the groove and feelin' the whole group..anyone ever seen footage of ian curtis on stage? it takes courage not to care what you look like when you are making art happen.
clarification, the sound at live performances on a stage are bad because the camera isn't very close to the performers. and such. these close up type are way better

Mark Sanchez didn't do anything good like start for the New York Jets as a QB and get to the AFC Championship Game and only 1 half away from making the Super Bowl as a rookie with only 1 year of actually starting as a QB in college. You're right though, I'm sure that you must have significantly better accomplishments in your life to compare to all of that which Is how I could see why you think he sucks.
