Three things that prompt our diligence to enter God’s rest

In our endeavors in this life, we are motivated by something that prompts us to give extra effort to the things we do in the hope of a better future. Some parents do their work diligently in the hope of bringing a better future for their children. Some students are diligent in their studies, motivated by their dreams and ambitions, which means a better future. Some are motivated to work hard in fear of poverty and insufficiency to address the basic needs of men. Men and women in this world endeavor with diligence on the things that will not count for eternity. How much more, Christians? For the things we do pertaining to Christ will count for eternity.
