Vail is going to be phasing out a lot of their terrain park/ bike park stuff over the next few years. That is not only the terrain the y offer but also the events they are going to be holding in the future. Sad to see and i saw the beginnings of this while working at PCMR/ Canyons and Beaver Creek.
That gondola is definitely go to make the whole mountain more accessible. Sick video.

Yoooo what runs are those trees on? I went to steamboat once but it was earlier this season. Definitely trying to hit them up next time I go
First run was gravy right off the backside, second gnarly run was the very edge of east face. Its been slow to open until recently especially if you don't know where to look, they do that on purpose. That's just a tiny bit of the obvious stuff, Steamboat has some crazy deep forests and secret spots.
the tree runs are intense! I almost tore my shoulder there couple days ago
When did you make it out there? Was there this last weekend and they got about 25 inches. 14 of which in 1 night. Saturday morning the Christmas Bowl had waist high powder on it.
This was last Wednesday, just before the storm started

@@Cody_Pulliam very nice! You guys may want to check out places by Salt Lake City and Mount Hood soon. They're supposed to be getting absolutely slammed with snow (70-90 inches over 10 days)
Anything on the new express quad lookers left?
It's a huge area of very tight trees, it's sweet imo. Only the lift line, and one other little run that is more about getting somewhere are cut or thinned at all. It's also not easy to get over there and back. Especially back, it's an uphill cat track to get back to the main area, but that should discourage a lot of people. That's all I'm saying, Gotta explore it yourself, if you can.

Colorado should pass a law that every town build a terrain park then you won't have to complain about resorts that don't like parks.
You can’t just make a terrain park at every city there is barely snow in the mountains let alone towns rn
@@gaigem3403 You didn't take that literally did you? It's more about this channel's obsession with park riding, it used to be more balanced. Vail makes money on people traveling to a ski resort from a long way off and these people could care less about a terrain park.

As a steamboat local, speed is good if you do not speed check or slip (or stop right before the jump line) Just saying. No disrespect though.
We would have rolled into the jumps for speed but there always seemed to be a gaggle of skiers standing at the drop
