    Your dumbbell collection is boss level for a home gym! You have one of the best home gyms I have ever seen.

    That's a sweet attachment. I like titan stuff. One suggestion, take it or leave it. Doesn't matter. But could you go to the opposite corner away from the land mine to rest the bar on? May keep from stressing everything as much since the peg you're resting it on would be closer to the weights. Or keep it just like you've got it, but go up in a higher hole for the rest/catch peg to keep from having so much leverage on the bar.

    You could put some sort of tape on the handles to help your grip

    I have the same Titan Fitness Viking Press Ricardo. Can't beat the quality for the price. Thanks for the suggested band peg application! I have Safety Straps and can't use the Pin/Pipe pivot system from Black Widow.
    Btw, mine came with a tightening bolt to secure the Viking Press to my barbell.

    That handle looks pretty good. A while back I bought a much more expensive one. If I would have known about the Titan one I could have saved some $. FYI - Black widow training gear sells a rod and pipe safety pivot (around $29 or so). It slides over rod and pipe safeties on a rack. I bought one and it is pretty good. On the other end of my rack where the weight comes down I bought some cheap lift slings that can handle a ton of weight (since I don't have a strap system). If I need to I can dump the weight on the strap which seems to damage the bar less. This set-up is very easy to adjust and feels pretty safe.

    Might have to pick this up. Are your land mines adjustable? Have you thought about mounting them higher and doing more of a OHP?

    • @rnleopando
      @rnleopando  7 років тому +7

      Brandon Campbell Diamond yeah its adjustable to any point vertically or horizontally as long as there are holes. I didnt think about setting it up for ohp. Maybe you can do a video on that good sir

    I ditched the peg and just put a extra Olympic bar across the rack when I do these lifts, that way neither bar will bend out of shape...

    Pando - great video. Great to see some Titan Fitness accessories getting reviewed. Innovative way to stack your bar on top of that band peg (and placing your landmine near the rear of your rack). Great vids, bro. Keep them coming! -Joe

      Leo Pando
      I’m sure if you contacted Titan about the missing knob, they would ship you out one. Even more so since you’re reviewing their equipment with 1000’s of people watching....

    • @josephlaroza
      @josephlaroza 6 років тому

      I’m going to buy a new screw knob from Lowes. They usually have a decent variety to pick from after you find the thread pitch of course.

      I also have the same viking press. It was purchased last year and the tightening knob is very small and difficult to secure to the bar. Replacing the knob is a must.

    Question.Are you cheating by kinda bouncing when your pressing the weight up? Or is that the way your suppose to preform the exercise? Its looks like it would be more challenging and beneficial if you stood still and just pushed with a mind muscle connection. Just curious .🤔🤔🤔

    Buy a titan axle bar instead of a crappy sacrificial bar. It's cheap, won't bend and you can use it for thick bar work too.

    You can go to home depot and buy rounded steel bar and save your money and not use your good barbell.

    • @mach5jeep
      @mach5jeep 6 років тому

      Because it's closer to the middle of the bar. You can see the bar bend in the video. Drop it on that pin a little too hard and your bar is toast

    • @andrewcady9443

    • @elced01

      The fulcrum on the bar is causing too much strain. Slide the resting peg up three levels and slide it off to the right when using it.

    • @hybrid-dad
      @hybrid-dad 6 років тому

      I purchased one last year. There's a small crossbar on the inside of the viking press bar that stops it from sliding all the way down.

    • @Seahawks1976
      @Seahawks1976 6 років тому

      Finish Strong Fitness hmm mine didn't have that. It's not a huge deal as the plates themselves should help once you load it up. I'll email them and ask them. Thanks!

    If you are strong enough to lift the weight, Then set it down properly.
