I haven't watched it yet, but I already know I'm going to love this! This is one of my favorite songs and FF9 is my special game, love that one so much. First FF game I played before going back and finding the SNES games for my SNES and ones on PS1. So basically it's my entry into the series and forever I will cherish this series.

I may like Final Fantasy VII's story slightly more than Final Fantasy IX's, but.....when I finally heard *"Melodies Of Life"* for the first time after completing the game awhile back, that was the game, the song, that caused tears to form. Not VII.
This so is so meaningfull and emotional to me that I decided that it will sound when my future wife will come to the altar. And I will make her walk really slow to let me listen it all. 😂❤

FF9を予約して発売日に購入したときビビのぬいぐるみが付いていて、
大切に持ち帰りビビを飾ってから力尽きるまでやりました。
当時はスマホやUA-camなんてないので、この歌を聞くためにビデオで録画してリピートして聞いていました。歳をとった今でもFFで1番好きな歌です。そして歳をとった今でも歌詞をみなくても歌える歌です。

子供の頃、エンディングでこの曲が流れてきたときの感動は今でも忘れられない。全編通してプレイしたからこその感動。ファミ通に掲載されていた、白鳥さんと植松さんの対談記事も何回も読みました。この間のFFコンサートの存在を知るのが遅すぎた…。
