I love how well they brought in Tokyo Into a game, so sick I also love how shadow remembered what Maria told him about how she saw earth, really cool detail since Maria is technically from Japan
@@mariobroultimate1808 just because she’s blonde doesn’t mean she isn’t from Japan, I’m just saying that from what we know sega is a Japan based company and it’s not uncommon to see blondes in Japanese media, I think her hair being blonde challenges those ideals that blondes are rebellious, that’s just my opinion though feel free to disagree
It wouldn't surprise me if westoplois was gonna be in the final game and this was a temp track before being scrapped and being brought back for this DLC
The intro is literally heavenly, they cooked so hard with this one. It manages to perfectly portray the sense of mystery and wonder Shadow felt when entering Tokyo, and the orchestrated feel reminds me a lot of the Island Movements from Sonic Frontiers: a lot more introspective, with no real prominent melody. But then it starts to build, as the guitar from the original Westopolis comes in, and the EDM and percussion become more prominent, building up to an insane beat drop. They did not have to go this hard for DLC, but they did anyways
This is seriously the only remix in the entire game that I actually like. Kind of sucks that it takes so long to start because it's made with the intro cutscene in mind though.
I hate to say it, but i kind of agree. Nothing in Shadow Generations makes me want to play over their original tracks. Except maybe the Ark, practically every theme, isn't quite up to snuff with the previous remixes. Biolozard doesn't even have its vocals. This is like the second theme I can listen to cause the original theme is so good, and this is very loyal to it.
Dude, when I heard Westopolis kick in. I nearly fell outta my chair. I so badly wanted the level and or a remix in this game. Finally I have it!
To steal a joke from another comment: "Finally, Eastopolis."
This and the kingdom valley ost for shadow generations is peak
Sonic: Who are you and why do you look like me?
Shadow: I don’t look like you. You look like me. Why do you look like me?

She is? What about the blonde hair?
People who originated from America can immigrate to Japan, you know.

Shadona 5
@@colin9403 I’m not the one who made the argument, stormcutter59 did. Why are you replying to me?
I never thought they'd incorporate hardstyle/hardcore elements into a remix but i fw it🔥🔥
Arrow of Time Remix in Sonic Frontiers The Final Horizon also has a hardstyle part in it !

it's an interesnting theory
Since it was in a concert before I think that's not true
This game has on of the best soundtracks
They cooked so hard with this
I really hope we hear Westopolis or another Shadow theme in the movie

Literally fucking peak
Hey hey hey, ya vi los subtitulos en español!
Gracias por subir la canción, la estaba buscando.
(If you don't talk Spanish just translate this)
Westoplis remix is totally awesome l love it's 😍👍
I'd prefer an actual Westopolis stage, but this will do
Me too
this level singlehandedly shut up every "it looks like forces" mf from the original trailers
I've taken on another form
SHADOW GENERATIONS YEAH!!! WESTOPLIS AWESOME!!! 🖤
Why does every Westopolis remix forget the synth record scratches during the build up in the middle?
Honestly until u brought it up i didn't notice lol. Its pretty quiet in the original, I dont think the sirens are in the remix either

I uploaded a version without the intro if you want
@@MusicalShinx I know, just commenting on the song in the actual game.
How do u not like the first radical highway remix?
@ ‘Cause it’s trash.
