Along with Insanity's theme here being played in a way that kinda reminds me of Gaster's theme (which is played with similar tone) So, as cringey as this may sound I guess 14:33 shows that everything was going as normal with Dust slowly winning like in the original encounter, but like Gaster said it's an experiment, so he somehow gave Insanity just that little push he needed to win. It's just my own way of intepretation, don't mind me

Dust never canocially won. The original animation was made by a dust fanboy who just wanted dust to win and didnt care about the canon strength. People then just started to assume that that ending is canon, but it never was. The animation itself isnt canon, cause if it was, insanity would win. But dust winning in the animation is not, never was, and never will be the canon ending.

So as quite a few people have pointed out before, insanity should've won from the very beginning, but I simply want to go into detail as to exactly why. 1. There is a LV difference between the two, unless dust actually defeated the human in this timeline, he is only LV 13. Insanity however is LV 20 (albeit in a artificial matter) 2. Dust is never said to gain the ability to save and load, however insanity specifically has this ability, even as far as reseting entirely, without the human there to out determine him. 3. Even if dust were to kill insanity, he would still lose as the artificial determination from insanity would corrupt him and make him the new insanity, so either way dust loses. So insanity is the clear Victor in this fight, either he wins or everyone loses.

So as quite a few people have pointed out before, insanity should've won from the very beginning, but I simply want to go into detail as to exactly why.
1. There is a LV difference between the two, unless dust actually defeated the human in this timeline, he is only LV 13. Insanity however is LV 20 (albeit in a artificial matter)
2. Dust is never said to gain the ability to save and load, however insanity specifically has this ability, even as far as reseting entirely, without the human there to out determine him.
3. Even if dust were to kill insanity, he would still lose as the artificial determination from insanity would corrupt him and make him the new insanity, so either way dust loses.
So insanity is the clear Victor in this fight, either he wins or everyone loses.

Canonically Insanity would be more powerful than Murder.
Insanity has far more DT since he was injected with human DT while Murder earned it but in canon only killed people up to snowdin.

Murder first of all can one shot insanity due to him having 1 hp, Infinite stamina doesnt matter considering it comes from papyrus's head and murder can figure it out and destroy papyrus's head
The save star shit doesnt work on murder considering he ll just change attack patterns over and over.
