The house of Saint Paisios Konitsa Greece

In Konitsa, this remote village of the prefecture of Ioannina, there is still the house where St. Paisios lived his childhood. The walls are dominated by photographs of the elder, family heirlooms and personal belongings. There his relatives daily welcome guests from all parts of the world who wish to find themselves in the personal space of a great saint. The nephew of St. Paisius, the son of his brother Raphael, guides us.

An albanian small town, now in Greece! Faik Konica was from here. Ali Pashe Tepelena' s mother was from here. The old generation still speak Albanian nowadays . Greece must tell the truth and not try to hide it.
