- The first Korean bow in 3k cross carbon technology
Very interesting, lightweight, sturdy and fast. All this for a good price.
Thank you Kim for sending this bow, so I could test it.

After seeing first hand what Şimşek was able to do w/ resin-glass composite, I'm so excited for the future of bows made from modern materials. Never saw a carbon-fiber one before.
I knew there was a reason I stopped eating cereal every morning 🤣🤣🤣👍🏼👊🏼
Hahahahahaha
You are my favorite youtuber. Keep up all the awesome videos
you have a fantastic asmr voice/accent. But with real content. Even better!
Lol! When Armin said "stay safe" Google opened on my device and gave me stay safe video suggestions!
:D :D
awesome, im gonna ask them about a 100lb version of this bow
he is sending me one soon gonna be a 60lb
OK tough guy 😉
@@Snugglez187 I don’t mean it like that the first monarq I reviewed is also 100lb so I wanted the majesty to match the draw weight for comparison
@@Snugglez187 daylite is sending me the 60 lb so i will compare FPS with 100 lb monarq
@@HistoricalWeapons Hey, what was the FPS that you got out of the monarch (at what gpp?)
I saw a video just now on Korean archery. And I thought I'd share this here, as I find it very interesting.
The 4 principles of Korean archery, in short, and paraftazed:
First, to account for wind and terrain
Second, to push the bow as if pushing a mountain
Third, to pull the string as if pulling on a tiger's tail
Fourth, to look on your own mistakes, rather than external reasons.
I love it 😁
Yes.. but what about archery... Not sure what your on about
@@strydyrhellzrydyr1345 To put it bluntly, since metaphores elude you.
It means to acount for distance, elevation and wind.
To push into the bow, and pull it with the same authority.
And to learn from your mistakes, and put effort into analyzing them.
You're welcome 😁
@@gizmonomono I thought your comment was very interesting, was easily understood, and can be translated to performance. Many thanks.
Gizmo, that sentiment also means don’t complain about the build quality since it’s your fault. lol. Now that sounds Korean
Excellent review --- after seeing this, and your other Daylite videos and comparisons, I ... bought one :)
Same, although I purchased Monarq and they sent me this bow, which is more expensive 😅
Fantastic bow I would love to get it for myself. Nice review Armin
My favorite bow and favorite vid yet
thank you
Don’t forget the video covering the 60degree string angle I need to know this
Thank you. I thought there is an easy explanation for the 60 degree angle, but it’s a bit more complex…
I have Majesty bow 53. 40 pound Only 315g very light I like it
Daylite bows are a bit cheaper these days! Go to their own site and they ship very fast for free. I ordered my Phoenix on a Thursday, USA time, and the bow arrived the next Tuesday...
It is a very nice bow. It really sends the arrows nice and sharp.
Nice review 😊 almost 50k subscribers, go Armin!
I got to tell you Iron Man it's mid-January hear everything's covered in a thick layer of snow. I don't want to hear about bad weather over there LOL! Still awesome review though
Hahaha
Is it still a good option Among the other Korean bow? (regardless of price?)
Good looking Korean bow carbon fiber seems to perform well but I like the look of the KTB 1 and the YMG much more. But for the price I don't think you can go wrong if your just looking for a good working Korean bow good job Daylight. Thanks for another great review my friend!
For those who own this bow, could you help me with an information? What are the unstrung dimensions of this bow (for your given size 50" or 53")? I intend to transport it and want to know how big a case I would need.
Thank you.
Mine broke today. I read stories from a few people that the Majesty cant handle weights 60lb plus, due to its 3 carbon layers. I thought maybe these people were pulling it too far (advertised 34") so I was careful and kept it to about 32". Still snapped after not much use.
You got a bad batch production perhaps. My 53”#60 is still going strong. I hope Daylite solves the issues with those bad batch
I read this and think twice buy it or not. I want purchase 80 or 90 lbs.. But now maybe looking for other bow
@@assaad1165 They have now released a new improved version with reinforcements. They told me and it says now on the web page. "NEW!! Majesty bow was reinforced and improved against breakage" Also if it does break they will happily send you a new bow of your choice for free and free shipping. I am thinking of getting one at 70 - 75lb
Wow that Korean bow is amazing
amazing? Do you really think so, JeekWon Shill?
I really like this bow
I love your intro music what is the song called
Eat too much cereal you become cereal killer
-armin 2021
How would you compare this to the Phoenix?
Need to shoot them side by side
It's a very nice bow, it's my favorit, i like IT very much
That looks like the black shadow, great bow 👍🏼🏹🇺🇸
Which is better? Black Shadow or The Majesty?
@@SuperBigsupa Have you got the answer? Cuz I'm also pretty confused to get which one 😅😂
@@ggnotgd I ended up with the Majesty #60 @ 53”. I also have the Monarq #55 @ 48”. Both very awesome. I still like the Black Shadow but will end up getting a Crimean Tatar or Meng Yuen by AJ Archery. Supri also makes Hybrid Korean bows but I already have 2 awesome Daylites . Armin compared the Black Shadow to the Alibow Segye and The segye was Armins pick. So many beautiful bows. Hope you enjoy whatever you get.
Is it Weatherproof Armin? Since it's a new Material, i'm interested if it can Handle a hot Environment like a Simsek, Never tried this type of new Material 🤔😬
You should be fine with it
Hi! Armin 😃 I find that Korean Bow very interesting. Medium price and Premium performance. With those materials and how it is wrapped it could be shot in the rain without fear of delamination? Thank you Armin for your review, enjoy the weekend.😁
I'm no expert but I would say it probably would be fine, no natural glues in the bow
I would ask the company. I bet some models are more rugged than others... Maybe all are ok with some rain since they are like modern sports equipment in Korea? It does not hurt to ask...
I want one!!!
Nice presentation, could you make a quick comparison with the Monarq?
That is a lot of bow for the money. Great review
They seem built like modern sports equipment in a way... I have their cheapest bow and it is one of the best-feeling bows I have tried (not many, a few fiberglass bows, a few laminated bows). Still, way cheaper than the laminated bows I have tried, but nicer draw and much nicer "spring more than shock" upon release. And, with my 60 lbs Phoenix, I can use the same weight arrows as my 50 lbs laminated bow's minimum gpp, no problem, just incredible speed!
This bow Looks nice
The Monarq seemed to be the best shooter, “right out of the box”, “no learning curve”, “where you point the arrow goes”. At 197 fps I believe it was as fast or faster with the high modulus carbon layer. At only $250 on Amazon and $230 on eBay (blazearrows-seller) both with free shipping; this really calls for a comparison to see if the new version is worth the additional $100 cost. Cheers
Somebody pls get this man a Hwarang bow
Yes please :D
Very interesting. 10 gpp arrows would be too heavy for this one?
the will work, but its more fun with 6gpp :D
@@ArminHirmer Even their lowest price bow, Phoenix, feels fine with light arrows, I think mine are about 8gpp (
Hai Sir, which one is more comfortable with nomad Black shadow?
this one :)
So many bows, so little time (and money). I have the Monarq by Daylight and it too is very nice. My only complaint is the grip
of many of the Korean bows could use some refinement.
I’m having trouble finding a way to buy this bow online. Does anyone have suggestions? I’m in the US.
Amazon
Why not using the link in the description?
@@ArminHirmer The daylight website doesn’t seem to sell bows. And where it says to buy them, they don’t seem to stock the majesty. Haha
@@trackstandking they will get this bow in stock this weekend. Maybe you wanna try and write them and inquiry ?
I bought it!! Thank you for the review. I am super excited :)
Cereal killer 🤣 maybe you had a clown for breakfast instead?
What temperature do you have at the moment in Malta? We have 2°C and snow, so... Bäh.
Very nice bow. I got down from 3 to 2 korean bows, so maybe there's room for a new 3rd one 😅
15 degrees or so... freezing cold hahahaha
@@ArminHirmer hahaha. I wish we had 15° so I don't have to wrap myself up like an onion to go outside. I'm a Frostköttel.
@@lulustocke8251 versteh schon :D
The pieces of tire inner tube are sometimes called " ranger bands " they are handy for many things and stretch pretty good and hold up
Nooooooo not an other review , I'm still waiting on a bow i ordered , and now this, 🤣🤣
I've got se same issue. An new review with another nice bow that I would be very interested to try out 😅 but there are two new bows for me in the pipeline. I hope they arrive soon😉
@@lulustocke8251 when I'm notified of a new Airmin video I pray it's a thumb ring or a exercise or teaching advice , as not another bow review , seems the various bowyers are listening to his advice ad creating some serious quality bows ,
😁😁
@@mickjenner6697 OH, yes, they know how to force us weak and needy peasants to buy a new bow🤣 I've got 14 bows on my shelf, soon there will be 16. It's an addiction. Can't do anything against it.
Just repeat after me....."My name is Mick and I am a Hirmin Bowaholic".😁
@@paulgee6111 oh I didn't say I'm quiting 🤣🤣🤣,
Awesome
Muy muy potente se ve de donde es cuanto cuesta el arco de 55 libras
Majesty vs Monarq, which is better?
seems I have to make a comparison
If the Korean bow builders keep going in this direction I might have to get one
$270 USD up to 60lbs with shipping , $300 USD for 65lbs and higher One of the few bow available over 60lbs!!!
Pulling 45 pounds require a lot of strength. How come in middle ages the archers were able to pull around 100 pounds? That's insanely impossible...
they simply started in the age of 7 or 8 to train for heavy bows... I missed that chance :D
@@ArminHirmer But why can't it be redeemed in later age? Does our muscles become impervious to moulding in a certain way, after some time? I wish I too had begun when I was 7🙄
I started a year ago and 30lbs felt plenty heavy enough. Practicing regularly I'm now pulling 60lbs with ease. I'm sure that with another year or two I'll be close to 100lbs. I'm 57 and the only difference I've found with strength training from when I was younger is one has to be a little more patient, take it steady and avoid injury through "overdoing it". The key is "little and often" and always stop when one feels one's body has had enough.
Also before I started I had had a persistent shoulder problem which resulted in pain and restricted movement. Since taking up archery the pain has cleared up and I now have full range of movement in my shoulder so archery can help healing if practiced with care.
By the way, if you think it impossible, try watching Joe Gibbs' videos on YT where he draws bows in excess of 200lbs! 😁
@@smithlouisnk9913 Anything is possible with proper training and commitment. Keep in mind that in the middle ages it was basically a necessity to be able to draw such high poundage in order to serve in the military or for just basic survival. Nowadays, we go to war with advanced technology (e.g. guns, etc.), not bows and arrows.
this is what Olympic archery should be like. Nott hat crazy gadget freak show.
Thanks for giving the string length details; 5” less than the NTN. Brace height was 5half inch? I could not hear clearly
its written
😁 Cereal killer, nice one!
I wasn't a fan of Korean bows before. But I like this one. It has the draw, you can shoot a wide variety of arrow weights from it, and it looks good. And the price sounds nice.
Seems like a bow you can really abuse 😁
By the way, serial killer gave me a nice chuckle 😂
I slide a piece of bicycle tyre inner tube on my bows to tuck in the string when storing
smart idea
nice bow
Daylight needs to work on aesthetics. All their bows are fantastic performers but most look like cheap Chinese toys, I think the vinyl stickers and rubber string pads dont help :/
Magic Carbon
I bet this flexs really nicely... This what carbon fiber is ment for... Sorta. Nice and quiet
I personally don't like the way carbon looks, but your Armin always looks good 😎
Cereal killer lmao 5:15
I just bought the Black Flash Red from Freddi Armin, I cannot afford to buy another one :p
your rating system need changing. most of the time you cant distinguish between the bows because you give them all 5,5,5,5,5,5,5,5,
No he doesnt lol. If u wanna compare, compare speeds of the bows. Korean bows were known for their extraordinary cast and speed. Also the string angle. Even though perhaps that doesnt matter with korean bows since they always overdraw their bows.
go look at the toparchery bows lol. there was an arrow count
Windfighter on steroids :).
@@kobbz1161 So I'm not crazy. Have been shooting the Windfighter, Nomad, 3X Firefox and the White Feather, and to me the oldest Windfighter was always the best one performance-vise.
@@kobbz1161 have you heard of the new Korean bow called the 'Koreana'. If I'm not wrong it's an upgrade from the windfighter since it's the same guy who make the windfighter makes the Koreana.
