You just nailed it ! Great observation, especially with the wet clutch functioning . The pressure plates do not compress or de-compress due to the over lubrication, since lube oils have a tendency to coat moving parts with a thin film of a few a microns . Hence, over filling will make the clutch slip, upon engaging .
I didn't understand much of the video but your comment gave me the light bulb moment (am in Nairobi, Kenya....English is the working language here). My motorbike (TRK502) is having exactly this problem. Hard clunky gear shift especially for gears 1 & 2 the oil may be slightly overfilled. let me drain it and see if it improves. I was thinking of disassembling the transmission to check what the problem is but let me try this trick and see if there is any improvement.

I have visited my mechanic many times regarding this issue after service (when he changed engine oil) but every time he ignored this complaint by saying that "bhai ji gear to makhkhan ka jaise change ho rahe aap hi na Jane kaise chala rahe hai". Then I googled this and came to this video and got the solution. Thank you once again.

Initially I liked your videos, but something similar (as in this video) happened n I asked your help, but you couldn't reply(I understand your hectic schedule). But this video of yours is bang on... It's happening with hundreds of RE riders n they r clueless about it. Even RE senior engineers don't know the fact you have mentioned in this video. I had a similar issue 9 months back n the actual reason was the one you mentioned. When I drained the engine oil, it came to 4 litres... Got it solved, but thanks that you are making all RE riders aware.
Are bhai kisiko koi prblm hoga nhi me mechanical engg padha hua hun. Automobiles me specification tha. Itna details. Damn good bro. Kisiko koi issue nhi hona chaiye. Itna to Service Engg v nhi bolta Service center me.

Why didn't I see this video earlier? I remember I got my bike serviced at a local mechanic, he changed oil and didn't unscrew that 3rd bolt. Gear shifting problem started thereafter. Finally I spent INR 4600 at service center as they did complete service, replaced clutch plates, clutch cable, clutch lever etc. 🥺
Bhai plz reply. Bullet buy krne ki soch rha hu bs problem uske rear tyre ke patle hone ki hai. Kya bullet me classic ka rear tyre lagaya ja sakta h? But 2 condition h - 1. Seat height same rahe jo bullet me hoti h. 2. Rim or tyre se alag koi Change na karna pade.
