- Bullish Engulfing Candlestick Pattern is a pattern formed by two Candlesticks after a Downtrend and Consolidation. Formed by two Candles, the first Candlestick is a bearish candle from the following Downtrend, the 2nd Candlestick is a Bullish Candle that Engulfs, rather Eclipses the 1st bearish candle body, and closes near it's high. Bullish Engulfing is a Bullish Reversal Pattern if and only if it appears when the Market is trying to find it's Bottom. And you can learn how to use bullish engulfing pattern in this video.

Date: 23-Dec & 26-Dec
Other Confirmation: 2nd Green Candle more than 3%, Previous Trend Down, Previous 3 candle low is above Bullish engulfe pattern, Green candle is High of Red candle, Previous Trend Down, Horizontal support of 550 to 560 range, RSI below 60.
Postive thing: It is a previous break out of falling wedge and then coming for a support.
Negative Thing is: Volume is less as compare to previous Red candle.
This same pattern is not there in NSE listing of PrincePipe, if you could help why this is a mimatch.

1/As per your video, the first candle in the pattern is red and second green. How about first candle is "green" followed by another big "Green" candle which engulfs the previous green candle? This is also a bullish engulfing pattern?
2/At 0:41 you showed different bullish engulfing patterns, all with gap down opening of second candle..
However, the second candle in the pattern DOESN'T need to have gap down opening...it can open :
a)At the closing price of the previous candle(if the previous candle is red)?
b)At the opening price of the previous candle(if the previous candle is green)?
