I had a few days ago a weird experience. I wasnt sure if I had an art VO or ven VO or just a big bruise, it looked strange and not typical plus the capillary refill was not really optimal. I massaged it a lot and in the end I think it was a little ven VO with bruise and edema. So thankfull that I could talk to u guys and Dr.Tim took the time to also analyze the situation. 😊. Thank U ThanK u again. I observed the patient dayly and he is recovering very well.
I had Voluma and it bruised badly. Bruise was still present 6 weeks later. I got a large pimple or boil a couple inches underneath and went back to injector. She said all was well. This was in July. Now my eye is sunken in and my eyelid is red and looks dead. My upper eyelid sulcus is deep about a pencil size depth and eyelid is sucked up under orbital bone. No one will help. Don’t know where to go
I'm so sorry this happened to you. I did not have that experience but I had an injector that I asked to put a smidge (literally like a droplet because that stuff drawers so much water to the area since it does not go onto the bone) of a syringe of Juvederm Ultra Plus that I already had and I use small amounts at a time in my lips and naso labial folds to put a touch in my cheeks. He put so much it went up into my delicate under-eye area and then refuse to dissolve it. I look like I've been beaten up for weeks, no bruising but the amount of puffiness was unreal. Completely changed my appearance, took away my bone structure, looks ridiculous. I've spent thousands now getting it dissolved and I'm furious. Situations like this have drove me to want to do for these procedures at home. At least purchasing the dissolver because I'm so disgusted with how practitioners will not take accountability. They'll take your money and will happily inject you but if something goes wrong or it looks awful they don't want to fix it. I don't know where you live but I would try to find a compassionate plastic surgeon or a very experienced RN. People like dr. Tim are humble. Doctors have to understand that we live with our faces. If it was their family they would ask no questions and fix it. But because we're just stupid patients to them they expect us to wait a year plus for it to dissolve and everybody knows that filler can last much longer
Thanks for sharing this. You mentioned low viscosity products and the ability to fill up the capillaries - I was wondering if you could comment on low molecular weight skin boosters like Sunekos/Jalupro and the risk of occlusion associated with these? There seems to be mixed information out there regarding whether these carry a lower risk because they are non cross linked or if that doesn’t actually determine risk of occlusion? I worry that they are often injected multiple times in small boluses into the subcutaneous tissue around the mouth where the arteries are quite close to the surface, so it seems something that is touted as being totally safe might actually be quite dangerous?
Can i ask you to educate us with these amazing information ON PATIENTS rather than podcast form? Anyway ,You are an amazing human being for sharing these information with us
Hi Mona. Thanks for your comment. Just to clarify, do you mean provide information for patients instead of practitioners? Or, do you mean you would like us to show injection videos where he's interacting with patients?

I'm so happy she recovered well Mauricio. You dealt with it very well by the sounds of it. Thank you for sharing your reflections here 🙏
Miranda, you don't get enough credit 😂 😂 😂 I love that you ask questions I've not even thought of ♥ thank you xxx
Ah, thanks so much Sam. I am good at questions haha 👊😎♥️
I wish you would show images in your discussions so we know what to look for

I had swelling immediately and bruise .. with little blurred vision ..
Are there known cases of lung or heart embolism after accidental injection into a facial vein?
Edit: answered, you think of everything
From the top of my head documented cases are from fat transfer not HA, which is usually much smaller volume.
